It doesn't mean shite for your typical daily drive.

The Tesla is the most practical of the list and more practical for daily use than about 80% of the trucks and SUVs on the road.

On and by the way, there is a .001% chance you will ever be buy another car/truck that is faster than you.

It is a perfect daily driver with raw fast speed if you want it.

That’s a stupid comparison. Those are not drag race cars, those are high performance race cars for a multiple cornering track.
They were not made for 0-60 speed, they were made for 180+ mph, high performance handling.

Throw some of those in and the Tesla won't even be seeing taillights as the others drive away.

The Plaid is like an old school musclecar. Does one thing well. Quick in a straight line.

Negative ghost rider, the torque does not drop and is pretty much linear. Peak HP happens at 80mph and remains same all the way to 200.

funny how quickly they back down when there’s an on ramp and some speed to be had.

this makes zero sense

Superchargers will have you out in about 15 min.

I keep hearing this, but a 10 hours road trip I recently took when plugged into the Tesla trip planner for a extended range model 3 come up with 3 charge stops of 55, 60, and 15 minutes, which added 2 hours to the trip compared to what I did, and I got to pick the route I wanted to take. I have talked to several Tesla drivers hooked up to superchargers, at a couple of places where I frequently stop, they are never in and out in 15 minutes.

Seen a Darth post and hoped/expected models standing or bent over next to the cars.

Maybe Friday

The Tesla S Plaid's 0-60 is extremely impressive. Regardless, I'd take cars 2-10 365 days out of the year over the Tesla. They are works of art compared to the Tesla.

Who cares about mileage and range for that list of cars.

Do pussy-quality next.

That Tesla will do great pulling the 47 year old from Orange Fitness.

Those others will pull all the quad.

0-60 time doesn't matter for 98% of the people buying a Tesla.

The Tesla Plaid has torque vectoring and can deliver torque to each wheel independently for better control around corners.

The tesla is only practical for daily use. Throwing the daily use argument out is always funny and doesn't make sense. It means you absolutely have to have another vehicle for certain other uses. A truck isn't super practical for just daily use of 1 person driving to work at an office job. However, it can be used for so many things and if needed, can be used for one person to drive to work for an office job. For most people, witg all things considered, having that tesla is not practical.

The only people I know who it could be practical for would be my 80 year old grandparents, if they were rich.

Wow I’m really surprised you’d rather have a $2-3 million dollar car over a $125k one.

I do wonder if/when we ever get to the point where electric car batteries have extremely high range (600 miles? 1000?), will we see race cars in Nascar and Formula 1 go electric? In theory they would be faster and you wouldn't need to pit for gas.

Tesla Plaids at the 130-140 price point is a joke. It's fast and that's it. The most boring fast car I've ever driven.
