Why? None of these are cars you take road trips in. And they most likely have small fuel tanks.

Tesla probably beats them by a helluva lot more there than acceleration

Well, when the frick does anyone really need go 0-60 in 1.98 seconds? It's as useless of stat as there is on earth. It doesn't mean shite for your typical daily drive.

0-60 is overrated. Years ago we had a buddy's 1997 Z28 and tried to match Car & Driver's time, which was probably 5.2 seconds. It was impossible. Trying to get a car to hook up is very hard unless you are at the drag strip every weekend.

Overall the continued pursuit of faster 0-60 is nuts. My current car is charted for low fours. I've been in cars that are advertised at 3's.

So???? It is so hard to hook up and make that happen, and even if you do, it is so violently fast and unusable on streets in a city or town.

I'm honestly looking to downgrade and cut my fuel bill because a car running low 4's is silly.

the Bugatti gets 11 mpg with a 22 gal tank

it also requires 110 octane fuel, so good luck finding that on your road trip

None of these cars are practical. I’m not sure what you’re getting at.

Haha, fuel range on hyper-cars. Some of these guys here.

You are correct. Not looking them all up, but the Veyron (a more subtle hyper-car) was under 300 miles of range.

The Model S Plaid is
Combined - 348 mi (560 km)
City - 353.7 mi (569.1 km)
Highway - 341 mi (548.7 km)

I doubt anyone of those is getting 348 miles to a tank.

All 10 of them will be pulling into their destination while the Tesla is sitting at a charging station.

How long is the drive? The Tesla leaves his house with a full charge every morning. Superchargers will have you out in about 15 min. Negligible on a road trip.

What is the top speed

If you remove safety software, Tesla can top 216mph confirmed

The Venom has a confirmed 271mph

Most of those other ones are fast, but they talk about theoretical top speeds over 300. They have not got there yet.

A $130,000 American car can top 200 and beat all those other cars off the line. Battery replacement is cheaper than getting new tires on the Bugatti

This is so dumb, all those cars plus any Joe Schmo in a turbo 911, m6 or something even dumber (hellcat) will walk one of those stupid Tesla’s rolling from 40+ mph start.

Ok the Tesla got me off the red light up to 35 mph to the next light, funny how quickly they back down when there’s an on ramp and some speed to be had.
