Biden hopes this happens here to Republicans.
I have no doubt in my mind of this. None.

I have unpaid receipts for over 6 months of unpaid rent thanks to him. That's not exactly a quick stop to the BS.

“If it saves one life”
A significant portion of Americans in 2020 would have viewed this as necessary collateral damage. We can throw stones but don’t them too hard.

6 months vs 2 years for other states including Louisiana.
I think the only other state to buck the BS as fast as FL was South Dakota.

DeSantis didn’t handle every aspect of COVID perfectly, he just handled it better than almost everyone else.
I can speak from experience, navigating 2020 with a libertarian world view on governments role in pandemics was not politically viable because our electorate is in large part a cowardly and pathetic people. I’m not sure if DeSantis would have been as successful transforming Florida into an oasis of freedom if he was hardline against government interventionism from day 1. Just my pragmatic side speaking, I personally view the vast majority of government interventionism with COVID as unbelievably harmful on many different levels of society and often counterproductive for getting through the pandemic.

An uncomfortable truth nobody here will really address, short of insulting you as some sort of lib.
See kids, this is what happens when you support a party that thinks men can get pregnant, and kids should be fricked by adults.
Trump and DeSantis both agreed to initial shutdowns (like the entire world), but then opened back up as soon as we realized COVID wasn't what you and your ilk made it out to be.
Trump, the worst Authoritarian in the history of Authoritarians, agreed to allow the state/local leadership do as they please. You know, state's rights. At no point did Trump MANDATE anything other than "you do you". This was the point Dem leaders really put the screws to everyone.
But you knew that already.

This should probably read: “10 that we know of”
Also, 10 down, 6.5 billion to go.

The suspension of civil liberties is NEVER the answer to any problem. It’s not hard.

Is this like when there’s a labor grievance and the employer won’t let union workers come to work?

Word out of the White House is that Biden is furious about this and has vowed to send another 25 billion to Ukraine in response.
