Well I guess discussing Jaclynn Crooks' health and wellbeing during the upcoming power outage in dangerously cold temperatures and windchills is frowned upon in this establishment. How times have changed on the OT.

My apologies good sir, to whichever admin removed my post.

Edit: nevermind, it's back!

You’ll never hear the end of that. Might as well stage a break in and disappear, make it look like you were kidnapped

Me too. She holds a special place in my OT heart because I made a babe thread about her years ago and she saw it then posted it to facebook thanking me

I think someone here, maybe Morbid, knows her and he posted screenshots of her acknowledging it in the thread

Forecasts since yesterday have been saying CENLA may see the worst of the ice. At least KPLC has been saying that Vernon and Rapides will potentially have it worse than others.

Over here in North Georgia they're saying around an inch or more of ice, Walmart and Publix were both packed the hell out. Luckily I already had what I needed but it's chaos there now

Readying up for possibly not having power for a couple days. Looks like the next weekend and one after that we have more snow or ice coming so that'll be fun

NE GA I assume?

In the models, where we are, it looks like the line between almost no ice accumulation and significant ice is like 10 miles and it's hovering on top of us

It’s a bad timing for a storm and grocery

Even if people arent panic buying, they still are shopping for their typical weekend run

Makes sense if comparing to your area.

Local news still has NWLA receiving anywhere from 1/4" to 1" of ice.

Nothing will be so bad that you can't get help for days, unlike a hurricane.

I’m speaking mainly for my area (north central LA, but if we get the ice they’re predicting, it’s not going to melt until Wednesday or Thursday. Roads are going to be sheets of ice for 4+ days.

I'm quite disappointed at the lack of use of the storm's given name: Fern.

Lord Cantore commands it.
