Why not
practically every adult male in my office has gone from briefcase to travel backpack in the last couple years, so let's take it a step further
I tried it, even bought a nice Tumi. I just can't bring myself to bring it into meetings.
Just ordered a Saddleback thin briefcase. (which knowing them, will still weigh 10#)
I'm like a woman, looking for the perfect purse.

I rock this one often. It's versatile and authentic looking.

Seen a few of those fanny packs across the shoulder.

Jack Bauer carried a satchel/messenger bag. Looks pretty useful to me.
Huh, I've been using one of these for years for work and never knew what they were called.

I still use a briefcase for meetings/rare court appearances but otherwise I'm all backpack. I was a holdout but I finally gave in.
I try to give my Saddleback (the original huge one) some attention every few months but it never lasts long. I do like it, but it's just such a beast.

I can see them lasting forever b/c they're too damn heavy to use everyday.
Col. Littleton has some nice leather stuff as well.

I could get into wearing that leather one in certain circumstances, like at a theme park or being a tourist somewhere. Probably not a daily thing tho.

I always liked them. Great for packing a Glock when wearing shorts.

Saw two college girls wearing them on a Friday afternoon just off campus. I googled the name brand on the fanny pack and it was actually insulated and made to hold a 6 pack of you favorite beverage.

Only if paired with zubaz pants.

I the older version of this for day hiking, it is a lot cooler (temperature) than a day pack and actually gives great lower back support. Now wearing one in the concrete jungle would be a no from me.

I'll be wearing one of there bad boys tailgating Saturday. It helps the look if you aren't fat and don't wear cargo shorts. Bring on the haters!

They're called 'belt bags' now, Philistine...

No, should 80s hairstyles make a comeback too?
I miss the days when women actually put a little effort into making their hair look good.

I applaud this but wow seems kinda overkill for anywhere/everywhere as opposed to certain activities like festivals, etc. Seems like something more compact would be more appropriate.

I have been carrying a messenger bag for several years
now I call it my murse
I'm lazy and I like nicknames that reduce the number of syllables I have to pronounce. But in this case I always refer to this type of bag as a man purse.
Just like I refer to car/unibody-based SUVs as glorified station wagons.
