I’m 25, watch every game but not as big as a die hard as some people on this board. Would that be at the top of your favorite plays in Saints history??

Im going with the T Porter int in the SB as 1a. The blocked punt would be 1b.

Porter INT in NFC title game. They were in field goal range with a very good kicker. Our season was over.

Possibly. The Hartley overtime kick against Minnesota to send the Saints to the SB and the Porter pick 6 in the SB to seal the victory were pretty big also.

All those are good, I just remember exactly where I was in my parents house when Gleason blocked that punt. Truly a special play in the history of the Saints

Don’t forget the surprise onside kick “ambush”. Tracey’s pick vs Favre.

I remember sitting in my seat in the dome with my head down in my hands watching Favre march them into fg range thinking the damn game was over. I picked my head up as he scrambled and threw the int. Never has my vertical been that high.

The onside kick in the Super Bowl has to be in the top 3 with Tracy Porter's pick and Gleason's blocked punt. Throw in Tom Dempsey's 60+ yard field goal as honorable mention.

Uh, Hartley misses that field goal and 2 of those 4 never happen.

09 Season had too many plays that mattered even non playoff moments

The Reggie Bush sideline dive vs Miami or Brees 2 pter
Meachem's strip fumble TD return

among a thousand others all led to that no.1 seed which was probably the difference between winning and losing the NFCCG

the Punt block is the greatest play in Saints history till that point and time and significant because it was the coming out party for the Saints new era

but the SB run and all that went into has to still be considered when making the list of the biggest plays in Saints history

For me it's #1. Being there and witnessing it, it was a religious experience. I just rememberer being so excited to see Reggie return a punt for the first time and then being a little disappointed they sent Lance Moore out there instead. Then we know what happened. That play won us that game and if we don't win that game I'm not sure what happens the rest of that 2006 season and in the future.
Only plays that come close are SB pick 6 and Hakim drops the ball

Most memorable, biggest play in Saints history is Tracy Porter pick 6 in the Superbowl.
