The FDA just backtracked on a vaccine they previously authorized.
They didn't backtrack they didn't even pull the vaccine from the market.

Then I guess I wouldn't be attending.
Personally I have no strong opinion one way or the other re: the vaccine. If in your own personal risk analysis you feel getting the vaccine is warranted, then by all means, please get it. But if you don't feel that it is necessary that is fine too.
However, while I understand the Saints are a private entity, I have a fundamental problem with an organization MANDATING you receive an injection into your body in order to do something as simple as attending a football game. I know this might come as a shock to some, there ARE other contagious virial infections that can be spread amongst humans and which carry with them the risk (however small) for serious health issues and even death. In fact, they existed PRIOR 2020 when we all did such risky activities as attended football games with 70k other human beings.
So the question becomes if the risk of death associated with covid (which is relatively small) is enough to mandate vaccination in order to attend a football game then what other illnesses out there (and in the future) carry a similar risk to warrant mandatory vaccination before attendance is allowed? Or is it that there is a certain level of risk/death rate associated with other contagious illnesses the New Orleans Saints are willing to accept, but just not that associated with covid?
Or to put it another way, does this set a new precedent that proof of vaccination from certain illness (if available) will be required in the future in addition to covid? For instance, the season flu DOES carry a risk of death (albeit relatively small). So is proof of flu shot every year going to be required as well? Or is it that the Saints are willing to accept the risk of death from the flu...just not from covid? It seems like if the logic mandating vaccination for covid to attend football games applies then shouldn't the same apply to other contagious illnesses?

People stuffing a vaccine into their arm without it being fully approved by the FDA has completely boggled my mind.
The fact that it takes so long for the FDA to approve medication boggles my mind.
The fact that people will completely go back to not asking why the state makes the process for drug manufacturing as difficult as it is boggles my mind.
Maybe they will also start asking why you can’t buy generic insulin.

Hurry up and get in line to take ur poison to get in to see a game. Wow people have lost their minds. Look around you do u really think the FDA, CDC, and big pharma cares about your health.
Give me a break. Mercury, formaldehyde, aborted fetal matter, and whatever else fits the bill is in vaccines. Please people spend a few less Tiger Droppings minutes and look up what Dr. Frankenstein puts in ur vaccine.

Although such cards absolutely do not exist I believe the use of them would in the end benefit a certain segment of the population. Namely me. In theory.

I’ll never show anything except my ticket.
Posted on 4/15/21 at 9:28 pm to saints5021
Not like you can afford tickets anyway
Posted on 4/15/21 at 9:34 pm to redneck
I'll take a test at the gate, how bout that. You figure it out.

It’s a load of crap if they do. You don’t have to show proof of the annual flu or your other vaccines to attend a game.

My 80 year old neighbor showed me his CDC COVID-19 vaccine card.
He has a camp in a state that he feels the card will give him access to travel to.
I may ask him for a photo copy when he gets his second shot stamped and dated.
