I didnt realize promoting someone to "assistant head coach" was considered "blocking from advancing their careers"
Do you realize how pathetic you sound?

I don't give a shite about the whole LSU deal. I honestly don't.
What I DO care about from Sean is the fact we've had several instances of our entire team falling completely flat on their faces when faced with adversity in the playoffs. I saw it right after that bullshite Rams no-call. We still should have won after that but it seemed like the entire team was just too focused on bitching about a play long over.
It happened again right after the Cooks fumble. We just never seem to be able to overcome big plays like that when it counts.

yes and it happened when Lattimore got hurt against the Vikings in the playoffs last year.
now granted most times the opposing team will test the replacement immediately but that is what the Vikings did.
when Cousins hit on the long ball on the next play, I knew we were done.

Yep. It’s up to the captains and leaders to keep the team focused. And ultimately that responsibility should be overseen by the head coach. His primary job is to manage the team from the sideline.
We collapsed on both sides of the ball.

I love all these people who come in here and make demands in exchange for their attention. No one is listening and no one cares. Just leave... we don’t need an announcement

Get out of here moron

Been following team annually since Bobby Hebert was running the show. After Sean little hissy fit yesterday, I will not watch another game. Frick that guy.
He literally did his job. He did what was best for the Saints as a team.
LSU didn't ask him and they didn't know they Saints could block it or didn't think they would. Its not Sean's fault. Neilsen is an assett to NO.

Sean Payton is no where close to a hall of fame coach. One super bowl appearance with one of the top 2 qbs all time does not help your resume. Yall give him way too much credit for his 3rd and 15 half back screen passes that never work.
I like how you can't defend your first take with facts, then you pivot for another reason for you to not like the guy. Hey, it's your own prerogative to not like CSP, but don't come here and act like you're some great fan if you can't appreciate 14 years of a high percentage of playoff appearances given where we were before Sean arrived.
In conclusion, it is my opinion you are an emotional bottom bitch. Go back to celebrating another losing season with Whistling Ed the Shrimpboat Captain. I hope he gets another championship soon, but he needs to ring on another doorbell besides Sean Payton to find his next meal ticket.

He's one of the best coaches in the NFL. His loyalty to Brees hurt us this year. Sean is not a defensive coach. If the defense fails its personnel or coaching but. Bad luck is part of it.
Give Sean a QB that can launch the ball and not turn it over and we'll get back to the playoffs next year. We will soon be in rebuild mode though.

Oh no a head coach did what's best for the team he is paid to run instead of helping the local college team that has zero bearing on his job
Right. Why are people so stupid?

90% of LSU and Louisiana fans are done with Sean after this shite. The crap this past offseason already had people on edge now this crap just shut off the rest of the state. Go read message boards around here, people can't stand Sean and are tired of his temper tantrums. He blows too many big games to get away with trading multiple draft picks to keep Carolina from getting Tommy Stevens. With the amount of talent he has had since 2009 and only have one championship to show for it is embarrassing.
Oh yeah he sucks! 12-4 seasons are hard to swallow.
fricking idiot. And dont forget we got screwed in the playoffs multiple times.
SP is literally one of the best coaches in the NFL. We would have more than 1 super bowl if (1) he didnt get suspended during Brees prime years (2) if he could pick a def coordinator (which he figured out) and (3) if the league didnt screw us in the playoffs, and (4) the minnesota miracle doesnt occur.

My math may be off because I did it quickly, but I think we had approximately a .391 win percentage before Payton, and .620 after Payton.
