The more troubling sign would be that we havent officially moved any money around yet.

Drew Brees and several other players should restructure this offseason in order for us to make some plays even if it is just getting the jump on some extensions.

This.

Were trashbin shopping and if that's the case, let go of Drew and let Teddy play since were hell-bent on signing him.

Its likely that they have the framework for restructures already mapped out and if/when they come to agreements with coveted FAs the corresponding moves will be quickly announced.

Don't push money forward unless you have to.

Well last year when we rushed to market we ended up greatly overpaying Coleman.

Loomis will move money when it's time to do so. No need to start reworking deals just so they can overpay like everyone does at the beginning of free agency.

This. Loomis knows who is willing to restructure and how much money he can get. Be patient y’all.

It just feels like we should hear of an extension for Peat soon.

Today is way too expensive for the Saints

In a good way.

The only jobs open are at TE. Well, if they sign Ingram, and I wish for this move most of all today.

All the positions we need are going fast.

You would think people would quit overreacting to the start of FA. If we sign early we “overpaid”. If we wait we are “dumpster diving”. Usually it is the same people bitching no matter what we do.

Not slot receiver, not tight end(if we even get one since this is such a deep TE draft), not Mark Ingram(cause he's basically the RB market for us), not rushing for Oline depth. Safeties are agreeing but there's a bunch of them on the market and we probably wouldn't be at the top of the safety market anyway.

No team that made the playoffs last year has signed anyone yet

Wonder why? Probably smart, well ran organizations

We don’t need a starting safety, just safety depth. Though I wouldn’t have minded an upgrade. I expect us to play it smart and get guys like Cole Beasley, ASJ, etc.

The biggest splash move might be signing Sheldon Richardson

Going fast? Only if you're the type of fan who bird dogs big name players without an actual regard for talent/cost efficiency.
