I was already sweating my balls off at the assets we potentially would be giving up. But that 230mil fully guaranteed contract would have sent me into a seizure. Thank the lord for the Browns being the Browns.

Those 3 late 1st rounders don't mean shite.
That money is crazy but all elite qbs are going to be getting those deals.
Just shows how important elite qbs are.
Carson wentz has been traded for about 10 or 11 draft picks in his career.

- I mean, saints in great shape.
- Falcons lose their guy and still have Matt Ryan’s contract hanging around their necks after they just basically went all in on another player
- And lol, the Browns? That team won’t be competitive for a decade.

Glad as shite if true that he ain’t coming here. We don’t need that poison!

Best case scenario if the Saints weren’t going to get him. Im just glad he's not headed to a division rival. Too bad the Falcons didn't offer a complete joke of a contract that will ensure the Browns remain a joke of a franchise.

I wanted Watson but I'm not heartbroken over it not happening given the cost required. It certainly opens up more flexibility to add other Fa, draft picks and keep existing players.

I bet Ole Matt Ryan real confident in the Falcons after they tried to get rid of him. Think it'll bode well for them this season. lmao

i would be sad if he were a falcon because in a couple years they might be good, but at least now he is a brown, he is on an equally bad team that also will never go anywhere so its something we can laugh at that he will never be a winner again other then on payday

Not worth three 1s
And all of the baggage
And all of the baggage

The browns subreddit actually seem angry and depressed about this trade. They seem to really like Baker and dislike Watson for his allegations.

Yea I didn't word that quite right.
Was tryn to say that if the Falcons would have been forced into that contract just to get Watson over the Saints that would be the only outcome for the Saints better than the Browns

I’m glad he’s out of the way now. Let’s see his arse play in cold Cleveland snow and be an accurate passer in that environment.

Not really. No QB and no good options.

This is definitely true. I hope Matty tells them to shove it and they're left with a bum.

Not sure I agree. That roster is good. Watson is going to level them up a lot. Wouldn't be surprised if they're in the thick of the AFC race next year.

Ain't nobody getting those fully guaranteed contracts like that. Too much risk. Even Kermit and Rodgers didn't.

Much MUUUUUUUUUUCH happier he's a Brown than a Falcon. I'm sure he would have still failed over there but now I don't have to worry about the possibility he goes over there and they go on some kind of successful winning tear.

Mark me happy, never wanted him.
