These dumbasses are too busy with their heads up their asses complaining about our coach and QB to just shut up, sit back and accept the ride. To the real fans that aren't wishing for a losing season, Who Dat!
i think we have a rough start to the season, but hopefully our oline can come together as we get out of the first 5 or 6 games. could easily be 1-5 and i'm kinda expecting it. still my saints, still gonna pull for em.

If I was confident in our OL, I’d be excited but I’m definitely not
This 100 percent. Don't love or hate Carr but anyone is going to get killed behind this line. Our D will keep us in the games but will we have enough O to win?
No point in getting overly hyped. Just sit back and enjoy the game for a few hours and move on with your life after.

Meh. Hard to get excited when we know damn well what we’ve got. Shitty coach. Washed up QB. Aging defense. Awful O line. Thin at WR, old at RB. You fired up about that?

It’s a new season and we should be competitive. The internet culture of jerking off over tanking for the draft is weird.

Have we announced our uniforms yet? That's always when it seems real for me and I start to get excited

The Fan Base is bringing an enthusiasm level on par with the Teams Talent Level.

How many of those posts are on topics other than college or pro football? Just asking.
Not sure. Why don’t you count them?
I’d bet the overwhelming majority are other than football topics.
If I had to guess I’d say 85/15 not football
I watch more Horseracing than I watch football these days.

The game thread and subsequent overreaction threads will be here soon

We want our team to win, but, we are grown men, so, we don't get excited about it like very young people tend to do.
The Saints are going to win some games this season. We hope they can get to the playoffs and win a game or two there. We want this to happen because we know this would make the whole Saints organization happy and Saints fans deserve some success.

I understand your view, but, then again, I've always believed that it is too easy to get wrapped up in focusing on exaggerated negatives. I guess the same is true about getting wrapped up in exaggerated positives!
I'll record the Saints games and watch them later if they win, just like I always do. I'm quite the fan, as you can see.

I am excited to watch football - but i have no real invested emotion to it anymore. I am happy if we win, disappointed if we lose - but leave it there.
when we got the SB on 09, I knew the chances of seeing another one in my lifetime was statistically low, so I got to see it for the Saints, and made peace that anything after is just icing on the cake, but if not - I was ok with it.
do i want the Saints to win it all? absolutely, but if we do not, I do not let it affect me like it does others - and nothing wrong with that.

Seats can be had for $21 in the terrace and under $100 in the plaza. No better sign for season ticket holders that your investment went to shite. The only value tickets are Eagles where their fanbase will make the trip and turn the Dome green like the Lions fans did last year. If we lay an egg Sunday, Broncos fans will do the same thing.
Carolina is always the worse game on the schedule. It was a little better when they had Cam but it’s normally the cheapest game and hardest one to sell as a season ticket holder. Thankfully I sold mine weeks ago and got $50 over face value for one set of mine.

I’m seeing $18 tickets in the Terrace online now
Expect prices to drop further
When was the last time a Saints opener had $18 tickets?

Under $75 in the plaza. Saints fans are checked out.

I can agree with this. Lots of new things on offense to smooth out but if it comes together we're going to be tough to deal with in the long stretch. We know the defense can be top 5-8 if not better so if we can just get an offense in the 10-12th ranking we should have something.
