When does a 12-3 team lose by 30+ points to a 7-8 team?

When the good old Saints need help getting in the playoffs, that’s when!

To be fair, they were underdogs and are complete frauds

When Goodell can eliminate the Saints

And, everything else we would have needed to have happen next week will. Guaranteed.

When they want Aaron Rodgers in.....

When it’s written that way.

same team that was down 33-0 to a 4-11 team

They're very easily the worst 12-3 football team I've ever seen in my life.
We should've beat these clowns early in the year.

How in the world does a 12 win team have a -19 point differential

In this post and many other are conspiracy theories about the NFL fixing games against the Saints. If you believe this, please list the reasons why you think the NFL would do this.

That is absolutely mind boggling.

Worst no-call anyone's ever seen, at a point that would wrap it up for the Saints over the Rams.
Several other games, all while facing the NFL's latest/greatest marketing tool (example, Tom Brady now in Tampa), and the Saints are cast as the Washington Generals (ie the "other team" in that game). Things work out for Brady to make a miraculous comeback.
Hell, if you want to go back to it, the Saints run post-Katrina fits the same profile, just happened to be in our favor then. But maybe it was, and Payton etc didn't politely let things go afterwards like they were supposed to, and Goodell had to "get rough" to show who's in control... ie the yearlong suspension. And possibly the occasional other calls, guaranteeing the Saints would never win another SB with Payton.

Minnesota defense gives up 400+ yards a game or somewhere close. They’ve been playing with fire all year and have been very lucky. I still can’t get over their negative point diff with a 12-4 record. The next closest team with similar record is like +50 or more.

Well the 12-3 team would have been 11-4 if we don’t screw the pooch in London
Or we wouldn’t have needed them to win if we beat TB on MNF.

Good, can we stop quoting that Bill Parcels “you are what your record says you are” now?
It was always a stupid oversimplification.

When they have playoff spot locked in and play reserves.

So it was
1. Godell hates saints
2. Godell hates drew.
3. Godell hates Payton
4. Not using Taysom, probably because they couldn't pry him from chadboy grips.
Rinse and repeat

If you're trying to play hypotheticals as to why the NFL would want the Eagles to lose, the answer is pretty simple. Eagles win they lock up the #1 seed, which means Philly has 0 incentive to play started in week 18 vs NYG (who now have 0 incentive to play starters).
And the trickle down is since SF & Minny are positioning for 2nd & 3rd seed; they may rest starters as well with the loss of the added bye week no longer at stake. Therefore, by letting the Eagles lose, they now have 3 playoff primes teams with something to play for in week 18.

OK, so for the specious reasons above, do you think that the referees were told to make sure that the Saints lose? Are the refs paid more for this? Are they threatened with death? Tell me exactly how you think this "fix" is carried out....and consider that if this "fix" ever got out, that people would be put in jail, lose their jobs and the NFL would get their asses sued off. In other words, the downside of this is much, much worse than the upside.
