What would you do if the Saints drafted Desmond Ritter in Round 1?

I would be furious. Maybe you can’t judge a guy by one game, but he didn’t look anywhere close to NFL caliber in the College Football Playoff.

He was awful and couldn’t take advantage of anything the Bama defense gave him.

I would decommit and sign with the Buffalo Bills.

People who make snap judgements on rookies who haven’t played a single snap in the NFL are morons

The Saints 2017 draft received C grades across the board. Brilliant.

I thought that about Lamar Jackson after lsu destroyed them in the bowl game. He’s done well. You can’t predict how they’ll adjust to the nfl. Some adjust immediately and some never do. I trust our scouts. It’s all a crapshoot.

I’ve come to the understanding that I know if a player can make it to the nfl. I have no clue how they will perform in the nfl though.

Yep. I thought Mac Jones was going to be an all time bust. Weird that a professional organization spending hundreds of hours on draft research usually know more than us, right?

Lamar Jackson has hit his ceiling. Baltimore would be smart to trade him and get what they can if they ever want to sniff a championship again.

I much rather the Liberty or Ole Miss QB, but only if they fall.

Don’t want Ridder at all.

His cieling isn’t nearly as high as Willis , corral, Pickett …. But it’s a crapshoot so I would pull for him just like every other option out there at QB.

I would be pretty happy with that.

Ridder is going to be drafted a lot earlier than most of these draft nerds anticipate. He's got a live arm, is tall, can run.

Get him with someone who can work on his timing and placement and Ridder can be a player.

Everyone needs to stop acting like they have any fricking clue when it comes to qb’s. No one knows. Qb is the biggest crapshoot.

Look at the elite/top qb’s in the league right now and tell me how many went first overall. I think Burrow is the only one.

If Howell swapped last year’s season with this year, he would be unquestionably the top pick.

Burrow was an end of draft/undrafted prospect before he lit it up his last year. It’s not like his physical gifts are that special. It’s his mind and his toughness that make him special.

Herbert was thought of as not a leader and not someone who really loved football. By the end of his rookie year it was clear that dude was special.

Tua was thought of as can’t miss prospect, now he looks like a shell of his former self.

No one knows how to really judge if a qb will be successful or not.

But they don’t, not when it comes to qb’s.
