And the one guy that’s left, we burned three first picks to replace him with eventually…..

you mean the one that couldn't get any pressure on opposing QBs and struggled to stop the run consistently?

yeah, we sure did

Cam still led in all major categories for D-linemen last year.

Davenport was busy in the peanut gallery.

Granderson took that starting spot from Davenport mid-year...his snap count went up, while Davenport's went down.

The biggest issue is Kpassagnon & Turner, can they be good enough depth to carry the DE positions because the DT positions will get an overhaul.

Kentavius Street & Malcolm Roach should be a solid backups. but we need 2 guys who can eat up space and generate a pass rush.

We lost like 4 players that accounted for a grand total of 7.5 sacks.

We can replace these guys in free agency bargain shopping and in the draft

I hate losing talent but Davenport as good as he is rarely is healthy long term. Guys signing in the first wave of free agency are typically over paid by teams with lots of cap space. Long way to go plus the draft.

We will just draft more that suck. Gotta deal with these Allen years so sit back and relax. We should have the no.1 pick by 2025.

The Saints have 8 draft picks and 4 of them need to be dlinemen

As long as they are replaced, all is well.

Good d line doesn't come cheap. I'm very interested in seeing who they sign.

They need to start with shelby harris. Comparable to onyemata but much, much cheaper.

If I'm the saints, I'm making a trade for zadarius smith.

He wants out of minnesota, and his contract is very manageable.

He has been consistent and productive his entire career.

What comparable players are in FA?

For how many issues our DL had last year, there aren't any better options in FA, so our DL will likely be worse next year.

Yea it’s laughable to think our dline will be better next year. O and Davenport had off or bad years last year but both were really good in 2021.

We maybe ok at end if Turner does anything and Granderson keeps improving. But it’s gonna be hard to replace O and Tuttle has been solid.

Yeah even with O not being great in 2022, he was still solid. Tuttle was a great backup DI who could start if needed.

Replacing 3 quality, starting-level DL in one offseason with a budget of 25 cents is...unlikely.

If we still had a top 10 pick to go with our additional 1st from Payton? Possible

Shut up, no we didn't.

Davenport was a starter but missed a ton of games to injury so that's a wash.

Onyemata was a starter, and the one that hurts the most though I'm okay with Saints not giving him as much money as the Falcons

Tuttle was a part time starter. He split reps with Roach, Street, Huggins and whomever else

I thought the cap wasn’t a problem?

But I guess losing 3 DL starters is the same as the Giants losing Kenny Galloday

Prince Emili's time to shine Boyz reppin the Ivy league.

And it's not all doom and gloom. We have some rotational guys in Street and Roach at tackle. Turner and Grandison at end. But front line starters I don't see us getting anywhere but the draft.
