#Vkings watched how Falcons slowed Drew Brees and Saints, according to Danielle Hunter, and they decided to attack interior OL because of strength of both Saints tackles.

Was clear as day Sean wanted to upgrade the interior of our line.

Despite some people's cherry picking of plays, there was absolutely constant pressure up the middle. It was VERY obvious and much talked about on here.

Its the reason we lost.

The play with Warford getting pushed back like he was on skates was really bad. I mean, Ramczyk and Armstead kind of got beat too but Warford was absolutely manhandled

Someone tag Lester so he can see this straight from the horse’s mouth instead of blaming Ram and Armstead

That’s crazy cause they ruined the game from the DE vs OT

Go watch the game again like I did this morning.

I don’t care to cherry pick plays lol. That is such a basic assumption.

It was fairly obvious all game. The OL (and team really) as a whole played bad but the pressure up the gut stifling drives was the catalyst. Hunter and co were living in our backfield, maybe our guys look like amatuers

Don’t get why they brought back Peat if they both sucked.

But at least Payton is trying to fix it.

is it really? between the two, larry was a HUGE problem to the coaches and his play has dropped off substantially.

Peat can provide depth at LT if Armstead goes down. Warford can't play outside of G. It isn't the best option, but its the safer between the two.

This can't possibly be true. MarineVet and every other LSU yahoo on this board told me it's a bad pick. So Danielle Hunter (who went to LSU by the way) must be lying!!

I don't love the resigning and numbers, but its not fair to Peat. He was very much injured in that game and the coaching staff should have kept him out.

not at the amount of money they gave him. it's not so much peat i dislike, it's that contract. i feel like they bid against themselves a little bit

Apparently literally everyone else who watched the game disagrees. Take your lumps and admit the possibility you might be wrong on this one Les. I know it’s hard. All it takes is one step

We love you,

I mean both things can be true. Their game plan could've been to attack the interior, and they had success there, but just so happens their DE's just also beat our tackles as well.

They wanted to attack the interior but the whole line sucked.

The Falcons DE's got sacks in that game too, but obviously the interior was an issue as well.

Peat broke his arm on November 10. Sure, he was cleared to play by the playoffs, but was he really ready to bench press 300 lb linemen? I don't know.

There was a few plays where the tackles got beat. However, some of those could have been compounded by bad communication in handling the stunts between the tackle and guard. Regardless what killed us was the constant interior penetration. Drew struggles when he can’t step up in the pocket and throw. The tackles had a bad game but we know they are bookend tackles and that is not the norm. However I fully believe that we will draft a tackle next year in the first and replace Armstead bc of his injury concerns so be prepared for that melt. Actually wouldn’t be surprised if we traded back into the second for Josh Jones.
