Shocking when you draft guys from big schools playing real conferences they come in ready to play. Not some project from a glorified high school

Why’s he the only one with a big helmet

That center couldn't move him one bit. Looking good so far.

I hope he doesn’t wear that huge pad on his helmet during the year. I get its more protective but its just strange looking. He’s going to be a player though. We got a good one it seems.

Yeah, those Marques Colston, Jahri Evans, Jermon Bushrod, Terron Armstead, and DeMario Davis guys really sucked.

Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, and Randy Moss were all awful on their teams that drafted them as well.

That’s a guardian cap. Are you seriously hearing about those for the first time? They’ve been in the NFL for a few years now.

He said he doesn’t want to see it, not that he doesn’t know about them

He referred to it as “that huge pad on his helmet” instead of its name (Guardian Cap). That implies that he doesn’t know what it is and that he is surprised to see it.

Sometimes you have to be smart enough to read between the lines and pick up on things that are not explicitly stated.

it might mean that he doesn't know what it's called, not that he doesn't know about them. You might be an accountant and think you're smart, but you have to go the extra mile and become a lawyer after getting the accounting degree like me to really read between the lines

And it's a Cuck Cap™ per Sir Winston, my intellectually inferior little buddy.

Not saying small schools haven't produced some. Saying by and large yiur better taking the slightly lower prospect who played in a big conference than a project in a small school

You know that he has high football iq if he started on that Georgia defense for 3 years.

The saints needed someone like him to help in the run game. I love how he split that double team.

I think Broughton is going to surprise some people this yr.

If Miller and Broughton hit, that’s huge for the D going forward.

Watching the game he looked incredibly swift off the snap out of his stance. It was impressive

Especially now with NIL and transfer rules. Almost every NFL worthy player gets to a P4 school before they enter the NFL now.

And that’s what’s important. Making sure you don’t have to see anything that looks strange to you. The hell with him trying to protect his brain from getting bounced around; it would bother you if he wore it.
