So Willie Gay isn’t good enough to be on the two deep ?

If Ramczyk can play the whole season and the Saints resign Peat then the run game should be good.

Carr is above average, the receiving Corp is not.

I agree the WRs aren't above avg, but they're pretty explosive...
Olave 12.9 per
Shaheed 15.6 per
Perry 20.5 per
Wilson 13.5 per

If kubiak can fix the running game, the WRs are more than adequate. We have to run the ball better this season. I expect AK and miller to do just that too

They were 9th in scoring in 14th in total offense last year, so not sure what you're basing this on.

They basically have the same offense aside from line issues. If they get Peat back, then they should be ok. Let’s face it, the Wilson pick up is way better than MT.

Williams salary is 4.6 million. Does he stick? I really hope we get AK back to 50+ receptions. Stretch the field with Shaheed and Olave and have AK, Juwan and Perry underneath.

Having a true one would be nice. We have a 2 and a bunch of 3s at wideout. But there is nothing out there. Higgins ain’t a 1.

D is the issue. If Foskey or Turner can take next step we would be ok there. Hopefully Young comes out and balls. The problem is out LBs are weak and our Safeties are weak. You can cover up those deficiencies with a really good D line. Problem is our D line is so suspect.

Boy, that offense really puts fear into other teams. LOL @ Taysom Hill listed as the backup QB. 99.9% of the time , he will run. Prediction. 6-11

If Ramczyk were to retire does anyone know the CAP implications? I’m assuming that would open up a few million in space.

Of course from his perspective it would make sense to give it a go not to forfeit the payday. You never know with a guy like Ramczyk, he’s made some money and may prefer to move on and be a family man.

a post-june 1st cut would save us about 1.2 this season and 2.1 next season. still owe him a buncha money, but if he can't play i guess it's what would happen. not sure how retirement and medical evals work with the cap.
