Hearing that Saints are expected to place veteran G Nick Easton on injured reserve today, but not sure yet of the specific injury. Easton played a key role this year, starting 9 games and playing both guard spots. Rookie Cesar Ruiz will become even more important now.

Concussions start to pile up, might be the end of the road.

Will be for this season, but too early to tell for his career (unless he retires). Last week was his first game back from the concussion against Philly bc of a previous concussion. Probably just assuming he wouldn't be ready for at least 3 weeks since he missed 2 weeks with last concussion.

Must be concussion related.

Sucks but Hurst is a serviceable and Ruiz has improved.

Exactly why the un-sexy picks of Lineman are so important

Like 2nd to last series of the game on Sunday

He walked to the locker room early and seemed like concussion protocol stuff

As long as Clapp doesn’t have to play extensively, we should be ok. He really struggles.

trust me, i've shite on him a lot. with peat and easton being out due to injury, he's gotten better. that right side has been consistent enough.

now the weakness is still our interior, but i don't feel as horrible about it compared to mid-season

Thats what i thought. Bums me out that we even had him in the game at that point. fricking game was out of hand. Him, taysom, and armstead being in there was irresponsible.

He needs to move to center and kick McCoy out to guard. But I'm assuming that will be a project for next year.

He wasn’t reported to IR in today’s injury report. Wouldn’t we have heard by now, if he really is going to IR?
