We are gonna trade up to 9/10/11 or so.

There are too many guys we want for us not to.

Wr - Chase or Smith drops we’re giddy

Cb - Surtain or Horn, great picks

Qb - one of the five is there it could happen, especially if one of the Big 3 of qbs drops.

OT - theres like 3 really good ones that SP would love to ruin our day with by drafting lol.

Trade up is happening.

If one of these guys we really want drops to mid teens trade up is even more likely.

no way we'd trade all the way to top 10 and not take a QB... will be too expensive for a CB or LB at that point.

So we’re trading our next year first and this years second and maybe a third to move up?

If we wouldn’t have traded all those firsts to Green Bay, we could have took the corner they used with our pick and got a pro bowl talent....

I’ll be mad even if we take a QB top 10. Stay and draft BPA at 28.

How many times have the Saints taken a guy whose daddy was a NFL player?

Take that for what it's worth.

28 to 10 is a far jump. The conversation starts with next years 1st, plus more. I don’t see that big of a jump happening. They’ve only come close to that once in 15 years & that was with Davenport (1.27 to 1.14).

They like to jump up in that 2nd tier wave. Guys they’ve had high grades on but slipped. Ingram, McCoy, CGJ, John Jenkins, al woods etc

In the 2018 presser post-Davenport deal, Sean said there are only 4 premium positions worthy of an aggressive trade-up: QB, Edge rusher, CB & OT.

Looks like WR (Chase, Smith, Waddle) or TE (Pitts) is not an option. Also, there are no edge rushes worthy of a Top 10 selection.

That leaves QB, CB & OT possibilities:
QBs: Mac/Fields/Lance
CBs: Surtain, Horn, Farley
OTs: Sewell/Slater

Cam Jordan and Mark Ingram come to mind.

So are you saying the trade up is for Horn or Surtain?

If we trade up and take a QB not named Wilson or Lawrence. I quit. We don't need to do that.

Giving up that much in a trade means we are targeting a long time player.
QB, OT

Like i said before, If M Parsons slides, he's worth a trade up but not top 10, thinking more like 13 - 15.
2 players that will slide from value will be Parson and Sewell due to QB run.

Dont sleep on trading with the Chargers

It's a qb if we trade up that high.

Interesting report from @SlaterNFL on Saints possible trade up: *not* for a cornerback, for "something more interesting and substantial"
