Who would trade mid season for a guy whose contract expires at the end of this season? They could just negotiate then. Unless we do a sign and trade. Then I’d expect that to be with a mid 1st round to early 2nd pick at best. I do think he is better than half the starters out there and he is young.
I doubt we resign Teddy unless Payton has decided it is him going forward.

It would have to be a sign and trade. Why trade for Teddy when you can sign him as a free agent? The only trade value he has is if a number 1 QB went down in a playoff hunt.
