I really do not understand all the trade Teddy threads. He is here in case Brees got hurt. He is doing exactly what is needed. The NFL is also notoriously famous for not getting much value in trading a backup player. We have no real option at QB until Drew is back other than Teddy. Why would we want to trade him?

I have a strong feeling that Teddy will be starting for the Saints next year. He has shown improvement and is only 26. The team loves him and has a 5-0 record as a starter. If we screw up with Brees’ successor everyone will be wondering why we let him go.
