You can never have enough RB's on the team because of injuries. But the Saints are loaded this season at the position, I say keep 5. I even think Magee is trying out with them this year. Keep Ingram, Peterson, Kamara, Lasco, and Magee. Goodbye Cadet.

Who's Magee?

My bad, I screwed that up good, I was talking about Terrence Magee. Lol It's Cleveland he's trying out with, shite. I read where he scored on a 1 yard run in last weeks Saints-Cleveland game and assumed he was with the Saints. I wish it was the Saints though, kid is a tough lil RB and I hope he makes it, but Payton is bad with signing LSU players even though it's a given they make solid pro players.

are we going to see these threads all season? because that will suck bigly
there will be at least 3 games where AP out performs Ingram and you'll get at least 4 after those. Maybe a couple in game when AP or Kamara make a big gain. It will be strangely silent after games where he shows he's obviously our most complete RB on the team.

Ingram is a top 10 back in the NFL, fact. Kamara has potential to be a special, exciting playmaker, fact. AP if even 75% healthy is still a top 15-20 back in the NFL, fact. All of the facts say this backfield is legit, why ruin it?
I don't get the LSU fans hatred of Ingram when he's shown he can run the ball. I hated Bush when he was at USC because he always long dicked Notre Dame, but was pumped as hell when he came to the Saints because it meant he was going to long dick people for my team now. Get over that Ingram went to Bama and be happy he is on our team now.

Agree... you'll never get a LB or CB who is as highly rated at his position as Ingram is at his. Given that, not sure why anyone would want to trade him.

The only way i give up ingram.. Is if i get Richard Sherman, or or the corner for oakland..(the one that left the cheifs) in a straight up trade... & we all kno thats not happening soooooo... Who cares??

People hate Ingram because he's not exceptional at anything. He's either average or above average at everything, which makes him a top 10 rb.

They hate him because he went to Alabama. If Ingram got drafted out of Michigan State none of these threads exist

You'd think after this many years people would move on

You can't fix stupid. Some things never change.

Truth.
and it is unfortunate. He is solid at every aspect of being a RB. Good runner and blocker and has decent hands. I know at least 60% of it is Bama hate, but the other 40% is he isn't exceptional at anything at a prime "star" position. Rise of fantasy football is some of the cause of this.
Sadly the best part of his game is probably pass protection blocking and no one cares about that.

He probably should have said borderline top 10 back. Top 15 back is a fact though. We've gone over this before, & you literally can't name 15 RB's that are better than he is. He isn't great at anything & people use that as an excuse to call him average. He had top 10 numbers last year while sharing carries with Hightower(those numbers also don't include pass protection).

Jesus.
In all honesty, he's money in the passing game cause he can really elevate, but I think he's maybe a little to passive against the run. Seems to shy away from the physical contact. But he'd be a heckofva a pick up if Micky could swing it. I just think it would take more than just Ingram to make me a believer.

Kamara will take this title by week 8. He catches the ball like a WR and has patience in the hole.

Unless he learns how to be an outstanding blocker during pass protection I highly doubt it. We are a passing team having a back that can block is very valuable here.

and that takes time for most RBs. Sproles became a halfway-decent one 3-4 years into his career.
