If Dallas got a bunch for Walker in 1988, why not see what his value is? Gotta be worth something, right?

They would have to fire DA and admit to a reset if they trade him

We’d be lucky to snag a 4th. He’s 30 and going to want a mega deal to stay beyond next year for whoever acquires. Would have to be a contending team with plenty of cap space.

Should have traded him and many others when Drew retired

If we trade Kamara I hope it’s to a contender. He deserves a ring

Maybe a 4th rounder if Dallas is desperate enough

I think he could get a 3rd from KC or possibly Wash.

No one is giving up a 3rd for an aging rb on the last year of his deal lol.

You are probably looking at a 5th at best that can maybe turn to a 4th with high conditions, like we just saw with Adams. If he’s named all
Pro or team wins the Super Bowl.

Actually, 1 more year. Agree with the rest, but we may get a 4th or 5th that could turn to a 3rd if extended by xxx date. Then the team waits until that date passes and reworks/extends his deal

No shot Washington giving a 3rd when they have Robinson and eckler. Eckler is absolutely elite right now on a per touch basis.

Pick depends on what the saints do with the salary. They could buy their way up a round possibly

James cook is younger and probably better than AK at this point

And the lifelong fans of this team that have been through mora, ditka, Haslett, Aaron brooks, the Billie joes, etc... deserve better

Gayle cares more about the dollar than she does what fans "deserve"

I care more about the value the team gets out of a player than giving them away for a shite low to mid round pick .

Washington has the ideal RB-duo, it won't be them like you said.
Robinson is the workhorse (~15 carries a game, ~1-2 receptions a game; close to 250 carries and 30 receptions a year --- ~1100 rushing yards, ~200 receiving yards), then using Ekeler as the mismatch high efficiency (~6 carries a game, ~3 receptions a game; 100 carries, 50 receptions --- ~600 rushing yards, ~700 receiving yards)

But lets say right now the top 4 divisional teams in each conference:
Buffalo - Absolutely could use him. another receiving threat as well. Cook/Davis are traditional bellcow built guys. Cook already has a toe injury
Baltimore - nah, unless Henry suddenly falls apart
Houston - Initially I was going to say no, but they have Mixon (oft-injured), but Pierce as a backup and he was a nearly 1k guy. He just isn't that big of a threat. Kamara would fit seamlessly with another weapon/option for Stroud as well.
Kansas City - YES void of offensive talent right now, they are patchworked at RB.
- AFC leaders alone you could argue 3/4

Washington - no like we said above
Minnesota - Maybe, Jones is solid (even injured) -- but they wouldn't traded for Akers from Houston if they were confident
Atlanta - nope Bijan & Allgeier are a thunder/lightning duo
San Fran - also no, CMC should be back at some point, they won't pay him in the future and Kamara. Mason looks solid, their OL is elite.
- NFC leaders alone you could argue 1/4

So 4/8 of the top teams

I said this about three or four years ago. We should’ve gotten rid of all the big contracts for draft picks, bit the bullet, understand that we were going to struggle for two or three years , but clear the salary cap and stop living under the salary cap fricking hell that Loomis has had us under for the last 10 years. Had we done that, we would now be coming out on the other side with some good players we got through the draft, a clear salary cap, and the ability to go into free agency and make a killing.

Instead of signing Carr to a $150 million long-term contract, we could’ve gotten Mayfield for about $10 million on a short term contract with the idea of taking a top draft choice on a quarterback (think Stroud or Daniels) for our long-term future.

This would’ve allowed us to sign both Justin Simmons and Matthew Judon this past year. We would be in a great salary cap position right about this point. Instead, we’re still in salary cap hell with a bleak fricking future and very little talent.

Cook has a toe and Buffalo has always deployed 2, even 3 RBs at time

Some teams also like to build real depth

As much as I like AK if you ever wanted to trade him now is the time.
