If Seattle had won today and next week, they'd be #1 due to having a better NFC record than us. That comes after the overall record comparison.

Yes it did. A Seattle win over Arizona would have eliminated the Saints from being number 1.

Well, you're on track now since we are now a Seahawks win and Viking win away. You were just missing one component.

But is there a chance we can still get the #1 seed?

Okay.

If Greenbay wins out, Saints are #2 seed if Seattle wins next week with a Saints win or loss. Saints are #3 seed if 49ers win with a Saints win or loss.

If Greenbay loses tomorrow, Seattle wins next week, and Saints win, Saints are #1 seed.

If Greenbay finishes 1-1 the next two games, Seattle wins, and Saints lose, Saints are #3 seed.

If Greenbay loses out, Saints are #1 seed win or loss, if Seattle wins next week.

If Greenbay loses out, Saints are #2 seed if they win or loss and 49ers win.

Root for the Vikings tomorrow night & Seahawks next Sunday along with a Saints win.

That's all you ever needed to root for.

If Seattle wins out, they clinch the NFC West, but that does not guarantee them the No. 1 seed. If the Saints win out, they would hold a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Seahawks, but if the Saints and Packers win out, a three-way tiebreaker goes to the Seahawks due to conference record.

Had nothing to do with the 1 seed. It was another path to the 2 seed.

All these pussy creoles worrying too much about the 2 seed. I see nothing that tells me Green Bay will win at Minnesota. After Minny wins tomorrow the Seattle/Arizona game was meaningless.

In terms of the #1 seed, yes but the Seahawks loss today bettered our chances at the #2 seed if we only get a Packer's loss tomorrow night. Missing a bye completely & having to play Wild Card weekend would suck.

Pussy creoles? Good joke. Must have a lot of time in Monroe to come up with good content.
