Don’t we want Seattle to win that division?

Seahawks losing this game is good. Eliminates the potential 3 way tie scenario with Green Bay.

So do we have the tiebreaker straight up with GB? I assume we do because we keep sayin it’s because of the 3 way tie we drop.

Yeah we do and I was going to come in and say this game doesn't really matter, but in the case of ties or one other scenario it is better if they lose today.

Win or lose today, next week they need to win. That gives them the division and hopefully moves us up a spot.

I don't believe so, all our losses are in the NFC. We need them to lose tomorrow

If us, GB, and Sea all have the same record we fall to 3rd.

If Sea loses today but wins next week and we win next week, we are 2nd. If GB loses 1 in that scenario we move to 1st.

Plenty of other little scenarios too but those include 9ers winning which takes out 1st place, or GB losing 2 which seems a long shot.

Don't NEED the Cards to win but it helps us to avoid the case of a 3 way tie.

We NEED the Seahawks to win next week, which gives them the division.

Basically this game doesn't matter as far as whoever wins the NFC West. Next week's game determines that. But this game could affect seeding.

Seattle has already beaten the 49’ers once so they just need to win next week to take the division regardless of what happens today

What Bone is talking about is the scenario where the Saints, Seattle and GB all win out. We get 3rd slot
