I just saw "Can Arizona hold on." Don't U need Sea to win so they can win the division? We own the tie breaker with them.

No.

Seattle has a better NFC record. The tie breaker only helps if they lose again.

What are the benefits of the Seahawks losing?

We wouldn’t need GB to lose for the 2 seed?

There is a scenario where if we win next week, Sea loses today but wins next week, and GB wins out that we get the 2 seed.

If Sea instead wins out, then we get the 3 seed.

The other road to the 2 seed is we win and GB loses out, with SF winning the division.

Yeah which is likely going to happen. I'd much rather the Packers at the #3 seed than Sea/SF at #3.

If GB doesn't win tomorrow, then the Saints would be the #1

Yeah I said that one earlier. It's a lot to keep saying but yes there are about 3 roads to every seed 1-3.

Oh, well. Well at least GB should lose. That helps with the 2. But my dumb ads was really hoping for Sea to win out so we could tie them and get the one

We want Seattle to lose today, win next week, and for GB to lose tomorrow.

And of course, NO winning next week.

Nah a 3 way tie fricks us and Sea winning this game has ZERO benefit to us with a little bit of positive if they lose.

It seems like Seattle is going to get very lucky that Murray got injured.

We need to win out, we need 49ers to lose next week, and we need the Packers to lose a game. We don't have tiebreaker over the Packers. We also don't have tiebreaker if we are in a three-way tie with the Seahawks and Packers. We do have tiebreaker over Seahawks. So, we need the Seahawks to win their division and the Packers to drop a game to get #1 seed.

If Seahawks win and Packers win this week, Saints are #3 seed going into week 17.
If Seahawks win and Packers lose, Saints are #1 seed going into Week 17.
If Seahawks lose and Packers Win, Saints are #3 seed going into week 17.
If Seahawks lose and Packers lose, Saints are #2 seed going into week 17.

I have little faith Arizona can pull this out.

But I do think Minnesota wins tomorrow. If they do, and we beat Carolina, then the worst we can finish is the 2 seed, regardless of what happens between Seattle and San Fran

The main advantage to Seattle losing is that a GB loss tomorrow and a Saints win next week clinches at least #2.

Then if Seattle beats SF, #1 would be clinched.
