They're the best possible matchup we could get. Not a great pass rush, linebackers or secondary.

I thought this kind of idiocy was mostly limited to LSU fans

I guess it's a Louisiana thing overall

My Grandma was napping but she woke up in the excitement of Chicago's missed FG. We told her that the Eagles would be playing the Saints next week. She said this: "Trap Game. The Saints were ready for the Cowboys but are not expecting the Eagles."

Then she asked whether Steve Van Buren from LSU "did good" running the ball against the Bears.

I would have much rather we play a Dallas team that we had something to prove against.

Don’t worry, if Dallas is worthy of us we’ll get them in the championship game.

It's awful

There's been threads started by babies scared of every team the saints could play

You'd think the fan base of a 13-3 team led by Pro Bowlers and a veteran Coach/HOF QB would be a bit more confident

Dude we have to play somebody. I’m just happy Mack is out of the playoffs. He is the type of guy who can take over a game.

Especially against a team with 3 banged up LTs (Armstead, Bushrod, and Peat would be third if the other two can't go).

Eagles strength on their Dline, much like the Rams, is the interior. We are very good and (mostly) healthy there.

Eagles have a good DL but it’s not Rams/Cowboys good. We held up well the first matchup and that was with Bushrod. We should be ok. Bradham will make some plays and it might be tough to run on them but as long as Brees doesn’t collapse we should be able to score 27-31. That should be enough.

I expect Philly to score and move the ball but not to the Steelers extent. They don’t have AB, JuJu and Big Ben over there.

And the Rams were dominating teams during that 8 game win streak as well. Win streaks don't mean a thing.

This will be the Eagles’ 5th toad game in 6 weeks and they haven’t been able to rest anyone. Foles is banged up and one good hit could knock him out of the game.

It may not be a blowout like the last one but I’m thinking we win without losing any fingernails.

We supposed to be that worried that a playoff team is on a four game win streak?

Every year, the team who wins, is the scariest.

Brees threw for the least yards in a game this season against the Cowboys and it wasn’t close to the 2nd worst. 127 yards! And it was in an indoor stadium. Football is a game of matchups. Brees threw for the 3rd most yards against the Eagles 363 yards. The defense not Foles or Wentz. Trubisky threw for 291 yards today. I like the matchup,

I would have preferred the cowboys but if we play our game I think we can beat anybody. only teams that scare me are the chiefs, rams, etc that can score a shitload of points.

This is the almost exact scenario of 12 years ago.
A saints team beats philly early in the year. Philly qb gets hurt, they win 4 in a row coming into new orleans in the divisional round
