Thomas better stay healthy because we had the chance to take his replacement.

Cedric Tillman is a big WR that can run too. He’s an instant starter wherever he goes.

Yep. Playing with fire banking on Thomas staying healthy at this point. Like Olave and Shaheed but if Thomas goes down we are in trouble.

No way they leave this draft without a WR. I want Charlie Jones at this point. He dominated at Purdue.

If you’re an instant starter at WR odds are you aren’t going in round 3

He reminds me of MT. He might not be as good, but would have been good insurance for him and could be his replacement next year.

All those “instant starters” in the 3rd round.
If he was an instant starter he’d have been the first receiver selected

a big WR
bruh, "big" WR's aren't the end all, be all of WR rooms anymore...
the top 10 receivers, last year, in the NFL, in terms of receiving yards were:
Justin Jefferson (6'1", 195)
Tyreek Hill (5'10", 191)
Davante Adams (6'1", 215)
AJ Brown (6'1", 226)
Stefon Diggs (6'0", 191)
CeeDee Lamb (6'2", 200)
Jaylen Waddle (5'10", 182)
Devonta Smith (6'0", 170)
Terry McLaurin (6'0", 210)
Amon-Ra St. Brown (6'0", 202)
not one of them is taller than Tillman (6'3"), and only 2 of them weigh more (213)...
a good WR is good regardless of their height and weight... stop putting so much fricking emphasis on the size of the WR, b/c realistically, for that position, it rarely really matters...

now you just starting to sound really fricking stupid, bro... stop while you are ahead

they will do something to move up in 4th to get a WR

welp i was wrong, or maybe they will with their 7th rounder
they still need a TE, a K, and at least 2 WR, and maybe C or SS for depth in my opinion so they must be active in the UDFA market

I highly doubt they will replace a guy like Thomas in any rounds between 4th and 7th. I think we’ll be ok we hit on Higgins as UDFA. Also Olave is a stud. They’ll sign some UDFA, lets see.

Agree, great get. I doubt he’ll give you Thomas production when he was healthy, thats asking a lot. I still think he has great potential though.

a) Thomas had phenomenal years when being targeted by Brees. But so did a number of other guys, who instantly turned average at best, after leaving the Saints. Not saying Thomas was a scrub, but Brees probably did add 20+ catches to his season totals.
b) Thomas hasn't been healthy in 2 years, at this point I think Olave is the #1 option. I will be very happy to be wrong, but not going to hold my breath on it. This dude seems to be a viable option to not just make the roster, but see the field a fair bit. That's a hell of a thing to say for a 6th rd pick.

Good points but prepared for him to hardly get snaps in a regular season game this year. They have Thomas, Edwards, higgins, Olave and others. He needs to really standout at camp and preseason to be in the rotation.
