Vikings make to much sense. That defense is championship caliber. Carr could very well be what pushes them over the hump.

I don't think there are many on here that disagree with you. The difference is, we all (including you) know how Loomis and this front office will plan to operate. So, there is the natural "excitement" about who may be options in free agency.

-Kubiak had decent success with Carr in New Orleans and Carr expressed interest in a return to Raiders, but is Carr really better than Geno, if so how much is that worth? IMO it's not worth cutting Geno & paying him $18.5M to leave and give up a 7th rd pick to sign Carr to whatever amount, probably $25M ish with heavy incentives?
-1st option keep Geno to bridge this year paying him $26.5M and draft Fernando Mendoza, then cut Geno in 2027 free & clear not owing any $
-2nd option trade Geno for a late round pick, save all his money and use that late round pick (or later) and his money to trade to the Saints and sign Carr

-Fields had 7TD-1INT & 62% completion but was still not effective enough to consistently move the offense & was benched after a 2-7 record. Likely a post June1 cut.

-Sign Sam Howell or Jake Browning

-Murray could be dealt or released, and use Jacoby Brisset as a bridge QB under contract for 2026 for cheap $5.4M
-Sign Howell or Browning, or trade for late round pick for someone like Richardson if they feel they could work with him

Titans; #4 pick. 2026 QB-Cam Ward. New HC Robert Saleh
-Ward was inconsistent but will likely be week 1 starter
-Russel Wilson makes sense here as a veteran mentor/backup
-Saleh was in San Fran last year and saw Mac Jones close up, so a trade for him is possible if he wants create a true QB1 competition with Ward

-Deshawn Watson, Shedeur Sanders, Dillon Gabriel all under contract
-Honestly have no clue what the Browns do, but Monken did say recently something about excited to work with Sanders.
-If Watson is healthy he's obviously your best option and you're paying him no matter what so might as well try him with the new staff
-Maybe try and dump Watson & Gabriel for whatever you can get and keep Shedeur and sign somebody like Tua if he's available or Cousins

Chiefs; #9 pick. 2026 QB-Mahomes might not be ready to start the season.
-Wentz makes sense here

Dolphins; #11 pick. 2026 QB-Tua Tagovvailoa. New HC Jeff Haley
-Tua is still under contract but was benched last year and could be dealt away
-Haley was DC in Green Bay and saw Malik Willis up close last year so that signing would make sense.

Vikings; #18 pick. 2026 QB-J.J.MCCarthy underwhelmed last season
-Cousins reunion is possible to potentially start/mentor for a year
-Carr / Flacco could also be options for a veteran that should be able to produce a solid amount with their offensive weapons

Panthers; #19 pick. 2026 QB-Bryce Young is still inconsistent but his 5th year option was picked up keeping him under contract through 2027
-I don't think they'll be any major changes here

Steelers; #21 pick. 2026 QB-Aaron Rodgers. New HC Mike McCarthy.
-Aaron Rodgers seems like he will come back
-Trey Lance was with McCarthy in Dallas in 24 so he could possibly be signed as backup

Colts; No 1st rd pick. 2026 QB-Daniel Jones
-Jones got off to a hot start before season ending injury, and he is not under contract for 2026 and likely won't be ready at the start of the season
-Resigning Jones makes sense but they will still need a formidable QB to possibly start several games beginning the season.
-Kenny Pickett / Zach Wilson are cheaper intriguing prospects here as short term QB1/backups that are former 1st rd picks that would seem to have higher ceilings & career resurgence potential a la Daniel Jones / Sam Darnold / Baker Mayfield / Geno Smith that we've seen in recent years
