Pass on all of them. No qb in the bunch will have any impact at all in this league.

I agree with this assessment, but I remember the same criticism of Josh Allen. All the tools, sub par accuracy. I think with the right coaching, Pickett can be a very good NFL quarterback

Lot of teams need QB before 1-18

Pickett is the only one I want but he'll be gone by then.

Corral maybe. Wouldn't hate him.

Hate everyone else.

While I like DJ, he certainly does not speak for the teams. He also likely wants to sensationalize the players he is doing the telecast about. I would highly doubt the Saints end up having all 3 with 1st round grades. Having said that, they have not even set their grades yet.

has very strong arm and escapability

This right here is a key combination.

How quick can he deliver the ball once the opening is identified (before it quickly closes). Need that guy that can flick his wrist and the ball is 20 yards downfield on a rope.

Escape and you get to double/triple your time to identify that opening.

True, but this is not an overly impressive list of QB's. I think there'sn outside chance one of them is there at 18

Ridder will be a bust even in light of his eventual pick in the 3rd round.

I like Corral. Big arm and very fast. Biggest concern is durability as he is pretty slender.

Kiffin did a good job of teaching him to take the easy throw this year.

Corral has plenty arm. Strongest arm in the draft. He also turned into a big time leader. The only thing I see as a downside is he needs to avoid contact while running.

Reports are that Malik is the most talented QB in the draft as of now. The arm talent is there. It's just a case of does he have the brains and willingness to put in the time to disect defenses. If so he would be the next Mahomes.

sometimes the freefalling qbs work out alright.

Look at Rodgers who was projected to go top 5 and fell to 24. (People always talk about Brees but imagine if Saban drafted Rodgers to pair with Ricky Williams)

Marino is the big name a lot of people talk about when talking about QBs who fell in the draft...but yeah, the vast majority of guys in freefall seem to be busts.

Pickett's the only one of those 3 I trust and, if he's available at our spot, we BETTER pick him or I will blow my top. DK much about Willis.

Saints are taking a WR in round 1. They will roll with Winston(promising start) and Hill(a proven winner), and draft a developmental guy that could end up as a #2 if they move on from Hill in the future. They desperately need a WR among other things. But, a big time rookie receiver would make MT either play or move on.

Would any of these be a first round grade in last years class? No. QB grades are relative to the pool available in each draft.
