The Worst Part of Jenkins' Brees Backlash

Regardless of your opinion of Drew's comments, Malcolm Jenkins' response is a really sad manifestation of the quick-trigger SJW culture that has been created.
Malcolm has seen all that Drew has done for the city and the region, and for poor black members of the community. Instead of echoing more of a Joe Horn line of thinking and saying "I've known Drew Brees for a long time. He definitely did not intentionally make a racist comment that he knows would hurt me and the movement I've been working for," he is essentially saying "I have had years of non-racist, constructive experiences with Drew. Wow, to think this whole time he's been a closet racist."

yeah, I was disappointed in Malcolm Jenkins basically telling the man to F off, no room or need for all of that. He removed the video shortly afterwards and changed his tone, but you can keep a calm even tempered mind about all of this and address the situation much better instead of having a quick meltdown. See Joe Horn, Demario Davis, Malcolm, and you been gone for a minute also, all of sudden you're one of the team leaders.

the deniers were all over this board when i said jenkins was and is a racist disruption and payton bringing him in would destroy this locker room
i actually didnt think it would happen this fast, i figured it would take 6-8 months at least but it was going to happen just as reliably as the sun rising.
thomas showed his racism arse already but showed no signs of being a preacher of hate and locker room poison as far as i could tell but kamara seems to show he and others in the locker room were and are spreading the racist hate

Weak people do stupid things & when they take them down from social media they claim it was because of “emotions”. Malcolm Jenkins & all of them that posted their opinions ONLINE before contacting Drew personally to have a civil discussion are WEAK. God help us with the future of this country.

Just off the top of my head, sizable donations to KIPP Believe Charter Schools (mostly black), contributions to rebuild Joe Brown Park In NO East, significant charitable work with Second Harvest Food Bank, work with Habitat for Humanity particularly post-Katrina, $5M to the state for Covid relief. Not to mention being a leader and beacon of hope for an area in the aftermath of the worst natural disaster in history, which was particularly bad for black communities. Any other dumb questions?

Jenkins can go take his soft Whiny arse stepping if doesn't like what Drew said. Brees is infinitely more valuable to this franchise than Jenkins ever was or ever will be
