Made it to my first game of the season yesterday.

-Concession lines were long as frick everywhere all game.
-The average age of the worker has to be 75 and they have no clue how to work the iPads.
-At the beginning of the 2nd quarter several spots were out of food on the menu.
-Whoever thought funneling thousands of fans down several flights of stairs needs to be fired. All I could think about is what a fire hazard that has to be.

Yeah the concessions were shite.

Thought for sure being in the bunker club we'd move a little quicker.

Unfortunately this is the norm

Without them you likely wouldn’t have near enough workers for part time jobs like concessions.

Why not make it self check out? Or a grab & go type thing that Tiger Stadium has implemented?

Or do what LSU does and offer a fundraising type deal for groups to work the concessions.

There has to be better alternatives.

They are actually building a grab and go type deal by my section (646) I lost the bathrooms right outside my portal. Part of the phase that happens this offseason

Lines have always and will always be long if you don’t time it right

Some of you need to get your heads around the fact that many young people simply won’t work anymore, especially those types of jobs.

Yesterday was the first time I’ve had complaints at a Saints game.
Thankfully the entrance process was fine, but I agree, everything else sucked.

This simply isn't true. Many young people don't want to work for fricking pennies and for employers that don't give 2 fricks about them. Between the Saints and Caesars, they make enough revenue to pay more than $10/hr for 7-8 Sundays out the year.

They need to send some people to the Benz in Atlanta and take notes. That stadium has the best fan experience I’ve ever had concessions-wise.

Completely disagree with these two points. Seattle game was no problem at all. Short, if any, lines. Younger workers.

Completely agree with this. Going down that escalator at the end of the game got me worried about the possibility of people panicking. Plus, the doors opened inward and were prime spots for crushing.

One of the beer vendors voiced her displeasure that I didn't tip on a $10 beer that I grabbed myself. I wanted to tell her to gfh but thought that wouldn't be the kind thing to do. I'm working on my anger

When they started that BS last season, I wondered who paid off the fire marshal. There is absolutely NO WAY that flies with fire code nor ADA. Watching older patrons struggle to get down the stares is embarrassing in a stadium of a professional organization. I saw some who simply could not walk down being told to all go to one elevator on that side of the stadium and wait as elevator after elevator passed them up. It seems the same elevator empties the press box areas from above. The whole thing seems to have been planned without the ticketholders in mind.

I remember when college kids had these jobs cornered. That was the good days.

Typical NOLA. Behind the times on just about everything. Go to Mercedes Dome in Atlanta. That's a real stadium and concessions are fast and cheap.

Why do people want food at a Saints game? Can't you fatties go 3 hours without eating shite food? Grad something from the food trucks on the way in, or. better yet, go get a real meal after the game.

Concessions were fine for me. I was in section 124. took a bit to get food but I’ve never been to any other game that was any different. Not just saints.
