Listening to detillier and Bobby yelling over eachother in the pregame was goddam embarrassing.

Strief isn’t great now but he’s not terrible considering his lack of experience.
Thats the problem, along with the awful play by play voice.

If he walks up to his local HS asking for this same job, the first thing they're gonna ask about is his experience. Then he's probably getting turned away when he tells them he has none.

WWL/Saints? One of the only 32 of these spots on the planet? Sure!

I'll give you a little tidbit. Notice most of the guys already have stable wealth or restaurants/businesses for "other" added income. That plays a factor in things

"Come on down to the Silver Slipper!"

"Lets go to Dave Hilbert, Casino Manager, for his weekly Saints analysis!"

Which would have made him a great analyst in the booth...alongside a real play by play guy.

He is doing fine for someone with no experience. He’ll find his groove and be great. Nobody was filling Jim Henderson shoes

WWL keeps promoting that he is a former player. I don’t care if my play by play guy has intimate knowledge of the team and organization. I just want an accuarste smooth call.

I would love to have heard the reasoning by the decision makers at WWL to give him this job.

How did someone with no experience get an NFL play by play job? And you can hear WWL in 30 states so this shite can be heard by a ton of people.

Joel Myers would have been a seamless move. There was no excuse for this.

They botched this hire badly.

The words he’s using are fine. His voice just isn’t a big time radio voice. He’s a perfect color guy though.
