If tweet fails to load, click here. She's not the only one saying so. Lots of people singling this position out, which makes sense considering we essentially don't have a player there.
Between that blackhole and Right Tackle...
I think they are going to make a panic move and trade for one those positions. They may have to so Derek Carr doesn't pass away by game 4

If this team wins seven games I will be shocked. Only good thing about them sucking is the Allen experience would be (or should be anyway) be over with.

I love the optimism

Isn't Saldeveri hurt? I would think that the spot would improve some when he comes back. Now I am not sure about his durability since he was injured last year too.

Saldivari is out right now and since MCcoy had a vet rest day, Lucas Patrick spent time at C.
But none of that is an excuse. Defense line (which most of us think is average) absolutely dominated oline. One camp observer said the Oline gave up 19 sacks during the team sessions. What happens when we go up against an elite dline?
Even if he wasn't hurt Saldivari is inexperienced and we have a rookie at LT and Penning at RT.
I'm not exactly sure how the front office decided to go into the season with this oline? I bet they are looking at any and every option available.
Mccoy is solid.
Ruiz is ok.
Other then that it's a lot of unknowns on this oline.

Jesus Christ
I hope Carr took out insurance

NFL games are won in the trenches. We will need a miracle to win 8 games

Unfortunately, our cap strategy depends on drafting well and leaves us in a tough spot to lure in quality FAs. The big issue is missing on Davenport, Turner, and Penning. I know 2 of those are DL but if we draft OL instead or just draft successful players at any spot then we are in a better spot overall.
Bottom line, we can't afford to miss in the early rounds of the draft if kicking the can is gonna be the strategy.

But Loomis stays

Ding ding ding.
Need to hit on top 3 rounds every year if we play the borrow money game.

Loomis is probably a minority owner by now… or he’s banging Gayle now to get the inheritance

I just envisioned that and it made me vomit my McGriddle

Well great. Was eating lunch at Burrito World and saw "McGriddle" and barfed.

I agree. This oline however is making Peyton Turner look like a training camp all-star...
I doubt that carries over to the season and he will likely get injured but one can hope he turned a corner finally.

Im concerned about Oline/WR/TE/QB/Head coach/RB/DT/saftey/depth in general.
If this were 2019, id care more

Keep in mind they’re saying Foskey has looked really good too. He was horrendous last year. I think the oline will be “really bad.”

The joint practice with SF will tell us all we need to know about both lines

Both need to go. Drafts have been bad recently. Gave a ton of money to Chase b/c you missed on Davenport, Turner and likely Fosky.
Gave up all those picks for Olave when you could have filled other positions.
Draft was better this year but burned a high second on Koolaid when you could have got a similar talent to play the slot the year before in Branch.
That 2nd could have been used on the oline.

I think Carr needs to pray to Jesus that he survives the first three games of the season! Praying to the Lord may be his only insurance No one else will cover him with that O line!

Better move the pocket and use misdirection to have a chance.
If Carl Smith play calling makes a return with a Swiss cheese OLine, expect Carl Smith numbers.
