quote:

"This feels, to me, like New Orleans, Cowherd said. "I got a roster - I got some things in place I like. I got a quarterback, though Justin Herbert is better than Derek Carr. I've got some weapons that are OK. I just don't have the right coach. The coach, either Dennis Allen or Brandon Staley, is on the wrong side of the ball."

Also, Carr has words of hope for frustrated Saints fans

quote:

"All of our expectations were so high, and our expectations should still be high," Carr said. "Everything is still in front of us. I keep saying this: This is the time to do it. This is the time to get hot right now. I was on a team where this was when we got hot, and that was a great time in our stadium. There was great energy in the city. And we want to do that for our city."

quote:

"I absolutely love this place. I just want to win here."

Allen has been a disaster as a head coach, owning a 21-45 career record. Despite being in the abysmal NFC South, Allen hasn't found a way to separate from the pack. That's a clear sign of incompetence, especially since he got the quarterback he wanted in Derek Carr. To make matters worse, Allen's side of the ball isn't even thriving anymore. Not only are the Saints ranked 30th in sacks, they've given up a whopping 131.5 rushing yards per game. If the Saints fail to make the playoffs, they should fire Allen. Whether they actually will is a different story.

Here's the actual quote:

Seeing as we are in first place and are larger favourites than Atlanta (Tampa is an underdog), that seems like a stretch

Oh, well since The Herd said it, I guess I'll have to agree that we should move on from DA.

Of course, as it seems with everything else, the media is at least a month behind the people paying attention.

If we are living in a simulation (which seems more and more likely), positive thinking and affirming statements are more powerful than we can imagine (which is why I fight so hard to try a different game thread starter after a loss). Nothing is off the table.

If we are living in an actual world created from the big bang and / or how it is described in the Genesis story, all of the great religions espouse the power of being optimistic. The Christian Bible tells us that we are snared by the words of our mouth. Stop saying negative things about subjects that you care about, even if you don't think they have any impact.

This board largely did not see this coming, and if we bring Allen back they won’t see it coming again.

How is one "living" in a simulation
People that are lost bring this up as a answer to it all while leaving out the obvious part!

Who made the simulation? It just brings one back to the original 3 questions Win:
Who am I?
How did I get here?
How long do I got?

So the massive amounts of offensive incompetence are just going to go away all of a sudden?

Can't wait for this entire staff to get fired and for Carr's contract to expire.
