Notice the same retards will bitch about a young coach we hire

Exactly. Payton always brought in young coaches and molded them.

Now they support the DA hire, but are ok with him surrounding himself with a bunch oldie but goodies?

Nah. Find the young hungry innovators and teach them how to lead.

If DA doesn’t think he can bring in and mold a younger staff than him, we’re all in big trouble. They don’t all have to be young, but got damn it is very necessary in the NFL right now.

So what is the appropriate age?? 40 too old; 45?? Should we be concerned at all if they are really good at, I don’t know, coaching maybe??

Hiring retreads and friends like Doug Marrone seems like a page right out of the trusty ole binder from the captain’s quarters on the shrimp boat.

I’m guessing Dennis Allen probably hired him without even interviewing him. Pretty soon they’ll be asking “paper or plastic” when we enter the Dome so we’ll have something to wear on our heads as we witness the blazing dumpster fire.

Allen just got the job 3 days ago. Loomis already said this was no rebuild. This seems like a personal problem so if you like, you can start wearing your bag now.

f this team can find a serviceable QB and get another WR, it will be a playoff team easily.

oh and an actual number 1 receiver (I am guessing MT will be gone) and a number 2 receiver and an interior lineman or two.

but then again, ML and SP drafted the center of the future, when we had the center of the future...

how much is that Swiss army knife 3rd string QB costing?

Payton left bc he saw the shittshow that is coming.

I can’t disagree with this.

Also
There is nobody more guilty of hanging on to the good ole boys,

Than Sean Payton.

Check out his staff over the four 7-9 seasons and after.

You mean like how SP took DA back after DA failed as a head coach?

Not quite. Ed O was never a coordinator. The Ed O hire would be hiring Bobby Hebert or Mike D.

We had our Ed O.

His name was Mike Ditka.

So you thought it would be smart to start a thread on this board that shits all over LSU's former head coach and the whole Saints franchise?

What a stupid take.

Seriously. Ban yourself. Your opinions are terrible and your presence brings the forum's average IQ down by 30-50 points every time you post.

If bringing a former assistant who failed as an NFL head coach back on to your staff is a "Binder move" than Sean Payton was our Ed Orgeron. The OP is an idiot.

It's not a rebuild, it's all status quo. No OC, no QB, no WR's, and a jailbird RB. Dennis Allen's resurrection of the Oakland Raiders

No… it’s the resurrection of typical Saints football pre-Payton.

Newsflash: Drew Brees doesn’t grow on trees

And another one, Payton jumped ship as soon as he didn’t have a QB.

So is this really on the Saints and Allen? Maybe SP contributed?
