He's gotten the saints further than anyone thought he could
Good lord he can't hit the broadside of a barn

We should add a hall of fame QB at the deadline.

He’s played pretty good today

Is it just me or does he seem to have a lot of balls knocked down at the LOS? Brees must be shorter and doesn’t have that.

He absolutely has. Our receivers have given him absolutely no help outside of MT

I’d say we should go for Rodgers but he doesn’t talk to his brother so frick that.

Do you people realize what you should expect with a backup?

He has played okay today against a great defense but he's definitely not the answer for the saints future.

Another football idiot savant. Well, minus the savant part.

I ain’t mad it. I agree he’s not the answer, but this scenario is the best any Saints fan could have asked for. Teddy gets 5-6 games, will at worst go 4-1. Through these games he gives you one 1 good performance, 1 solid, 3 below average but still gets the Ws this year. Best thing is that in the process the Saints figure out that they don’t have to pay him $18-$20M a season after this. He’s a darn good backup, pay him as a darn good backup, but we find out that we should not pay him legit starter money. Win-Win for Saints, only “loser” if you want to call it that is Teddy since he won’t get a huge payday like he probably would have had Drew been healthy y’all season. If Drew retires I’d like to bring Teddy back, and now we know about how much his true value is.

I don't understand these posts. He's not having that bad of a game. That throw to the end zone was a good one and should of been caught. He's made good throws and hasn't turned the ball over.
I'm mean, let's face it, Brees spoiled this fan base. Get used to football without him, or a hall of fame QB for that matter. I mean, they're just not that common.

Teddy is average, yes. But he has no one other than MT to throw to. Austin Carr never seems to be where Brees or Bridge throw the ball. How can a professional like Ted Ginn not get hands on the ball instead of forearms.

This and some people are just stuck to their initial opinion. He could complete 100 straight passes and they'll start right back bitching if pass 101 is incomplete.

1) Yes, he's having a bad game.
2) I'm tired of the 'SPOILED FANBASE' argument. It's dogshit. You act like there is no middle ground between a subpar QB like Bridgewater and Drew Brees. Newsflash: there is.

Maybe we'll get lucky and draft a guy like Trubisky...

its hard to look good hwen you have literally 1 offensive weapon on the whole team that's healthy and suited up to play with you, to be fair
