@RosvoglouReport

Taysom Hill's usage in the last 2 games:

- 1 carry, 1 target and 1 passing attempt against Ravens
- 3 carries and 1 passing attempt against Steelers

The coaching staff has to find ways to get Taysom more involved.

I get that the offensive line is in shambles and that almost negates about 95% of what they have Hill do (take a shot when it's a keeper), but Carmichael has absolutely no clue how to manage his personnel. I don't think it needs to be strictly at QB, but if you're going to stick with Dalton you HAVE to utilize every weapon you have to take some of the pressure off of Andy. Saw a tweet explaining Dalton pretty well, he's a "decent" quarterback when everything goes well. This offense is obviously not at that point.

He’s a game manager on his best day. That’s always been the case. There’s a reason the Bengals were so adamant about taking Joe Burrow w/ the top overall pick in 2020.

its been that way all year not just a few games

dalton is moving the ball well, we get to mid field and in comes taysom to hand off to ingram for 1 yard, then false start and tayson runs it for 2-3 yards and we send dalton back out there for a 3rd and 13 to throw a designed 3 yard pass and we punt

thats pretty much repeated itself several times in each game

DA has no clue how or when to use him and neither does carmichael

you use taysom in the red zone as needed but this coaching staff instead uses him to kill our drives regularly with bad play calling

He's had over 20 plays twice this season, and never played more than 40% of the offensive snaps (hit 40% last week).

Of course, a team is going to struggle offensively when you don't have your better offensive players play more than 50% of the snaps; especially considering the injury issues this team has faced with skill players.

Edited to change carries to plays

This alone is grounds for termination.

Maxx. Taysom has been under used since he's been here. Its a NOLA tradition.

Taysom and Kamara's usage the last two games is not just embarrassing it's almost crminal.

FIFY.
I've been singing this tune for over two weeks.
The numbers don't lie. In the 24-0 win over the Raiders Hill had 12 total touches Kamara had 27 touches a combined total of 39 touches'
In the loss against the Ravens Hill had 2 touches and Kamara had 12. Total of 14
In the loss against the Steelers Hill had 4 touches and Kamara had 11. Total of 15.
These totals reflect pass atts./ rush atts. and recs.
We have two of the most talented offensive weapons in the league and paying dearly for them. It's understood that one of the ways to mitigate the pass rush is to establish the running game and dump the ball off quickly. I haven't seen a fu..ing screen pass since the beginning of the season.
They have got to get the backs involved in this offense.

Really is odd when you think about how much the gush about everything he can do. He can line up under center, shotgun, FB, HB, TE on the line, TE split wide, slot WR... Yet, he rarely sees more than 1/3rd of the offensive plays

He has played in 64 games when he wasn't the primary QB. 40% of them he played in 25%+ of the offensive snaps, 60% under 25%
22% of those games he played in 1/3rd of the offensive snaps
He has only had 2 games where he played in more than 50% of the snaps (both in 2021).

Against considering his versatility and how effective he is with the ball in his hand, how can he not be in more plays. Even if it's a decoy

Its nuts. Lets trade the guy I don't want to trade cause its like hearing Les talk about "this year we are really getting the TE involved"

This line irks me. He's a fricking QB. There's no easier position to get involved.

Correlation != Causation

Not saying I disagree with your premise, however, backs are always going to have more touches in wins than loses.

Absolutely. However, when you are running at a rate of 6 runs to 16 passes by half, it’s difficult to maintain control of the game and establish the run without a solid QB

I like the play where he runs a route and qb never looks to him.

He's going to end up with 500k per snap at this rate

This would be hilarious if it weren’t so true. And sad.

The line was healthy for that game and kamara was abusing their linebackers. Everything starts with the line.

When taysom has run the ball lately, nothing has been blocked.
He has been getting 2 yards a carry.

The thing that has always irked me about his usage at qb is they need to let him roll out and throw the ball more. 95% of the time it's a run.

So, you start letting him throw the ball when they are crowding the line.
