Enough! What does this coaching staff not understand about putting Taysom Hill behind center? It's not new anymore...it was working at one time but now Stevie Wonder could see what Taysom will do.
It poses no threat like it did when it was all shiney & new, but it is especially dumb to pull and leave Jameis split far left. He becomes a liability instead of an assett.
Now if they could start creating plays that start with Taysom behind center but let him throw the ball, or toss back to Jameis, you know some other variations.

This season: 7 rush 95 yards
Career: 228 rush. 1278 yards (5.6 per)

I have no problem with using him. Hopefully we have him passing it for a crucial moment

Playcalling is extremely stale. Taysom QB power is still effective but it would be much more so if they had some passes thrown in as well. SP/Pete havent been able to use him like a poor man's Lamar Jackson.

The coaching staff has been ineffective at getting taysom the ball on mismatches on the run.

I wish they would use him on some jet sweep motion action, or use him as a FB or split back and take advantage of his pass catching ability.

Did you mean under center, or are you suggesting every time Taysom is lined up to take the snap, whether in shotgun or direct snap, the play is ineffective?

I think T should be in the offense more in general....and not just QB. What happened to the him at TE? Or RB? Or some FB out in the flat type routes? Get creative!

We need to move forward with Dalton and let Jameis heal. I don’t believe that a hurt Jameis is better than a healthy Dalton. Taysom continue with his TE/Wildcat role and emergency qb.

I agree. We aren’t using him enough. Him not playing qb was supposed to allow us to use him in a less careful manner

Agreed. I would imagine an injury to the back would affect your timing, which could be very detrimental to a QB. And back injuries get worse during long travel, so I could only imagine how rough it'll be in London in 2 weeks

Taysom has had huge plays every time he’s been in the game. What are y’all watching?

Exactly. Maybe if they'd call a fake run then let him throw the ball over the defense it would keep them honest and not just stack the line when Hill is under center.

So basically we put Winston and running back and Taysom at QB under center. Taysom takes the snap and pitches it to Winston. This leaves us with one less target for Winston. Why would we just line Winston up in shotgun and snap the ball directly to him?

What are you watching? You can’t establish it when you’e throwing the ball to the other team

the problem is not having an OC on this team

we have a guy that didnt have any imagination and tried to retire yet he was begged to stay and so we have what we have, an OC with no imagination or desire to do the job and who doesnt want to be here at all

DA as HC is the worst thing to ever happen to this team

I'd love to see Hill lined as a rb next to the qb in shotgun more.

He could play a traditional rb OR a direct snap rb OR he could end up being qb OR...

Lots of ors.

He should be used in that hybrid Deeboo / Dallas Clark role.
