Stop watching NFL??

I'm not happy with all that is going on either, but players could protest in my living room, and the POTUS call me and bash me every commercial break, but I'm gonna keep on watching and rooting for the Saints.

Well, you're an actual fan.

That's where I am at.
I will boycott all NFL games not featuring my boys in Black and Gold.
I have mostly done this for the past few years but this year I will avoid even the playoffs if the Saints miss it.
Not supporting Goodell or this BS...I just can't turn my back on my Saints.

Cool story bro, supporting people that shite on your country is an Alpha move. Good call

Saints have much bigger issues than a handful of players sitting on the sidelines during The National Anthem

I might still watch but if Neilsen calls me I'm lying my arse off

Well they turned their back on my family so frick the Saints I don't owe them my fandom just because, they earn it and they threw it away and not just with player actions, Front office mainly with their heartless statements toward veterans.

What did they say about veterans?

I'm done with the NFL. Our nation is far more important the the NFL or the Saints. I love the Saints, but I cannot continue to support any team that allow players to disrespect the men and women in our armed forces. My time and money will be used elsewhere.
I'd rather pick up knitting than watch another game.
The players can protest when they are not on the clock. When they enter the locker room, they are on the clock. If I want to protest at my job, I'll get fired.
These prima-donna players get paid to play a game. They can protest before they enter the stadium or after. It is ridiculous that the League and the owners tolerate this garbage.
Who else gets to protest at their jobsite or place of work?
Everyone has the right to protest outside of normal working hours.
What misguided individual thinks they can protest our flag and national anthem, and then say "We mean no disrespect to the military." Their very act is disrespectful to the military and every soldier that ever wore their uniform or died for our nation.

NFL, maybe. Saints....that's debatable.

Well Drew is about as promilitary as you can be. He has went overseas to see our troops by visiting combat zones with the Army and the Marines on multiple occasions. He embodies everything in his stance for the flag that I also believe and support. He is the QB and face of my franchise and I am proud to have him.

So has Cam Jordan and Mark Ingram

Cam Jordan could take a shite on the sideline during the anthem while reading Mein Kampf and I'd be yelling Who Dat for the next 3 hours.
If you bail because of a couple players taking a knee, you were a shite fan to begin with and IDGAF.

I agree... and deep down inside, I’d bet that 75-80% of the fans who are ‘boycotting’ football are still going to watch it

Most employees aren't gonna fire someone for not standing for the national anthem if it was sang at work.
ETA: I said employees, meant employers. Gonna leave it

I would be a pissed if this was an anti military demonstration but it’s not so zero fricks given. I will continue to watch and enjoy football. And I will stand for the anthem at live events and sit on my couch when it comes on TV just as I always have. I don’t stand at attention when I watch the Olympics or any other event so I’m not gonna faux outrage over some dumb shite.

Neat. I'm on my way to London to cheer them on the field

Pretty much. Most of the ones that truly quit are probably causal watchers.

exactly. none of these players hate our country or our troops. They are using their platform to send a message about the state of the country. You don't have to agree with the substance of the message but I respect their right to protest in a way that does no one any actual harm.
