Apparently if he can not play the rest of the season (due to injury) and $30 Mil escalator kicks in. Not it’s not a bonus or an addition to his contract so I wonder how it effects the saints cap and their ability to deal with him going into the 2025 season.
This clause has been loose talked about on the social media dudes sites but never really explained how it effects the saints.

Not sure if escalator is the right term. FYI.

Dude broke his hand diving for a first down trying to play hero ball in a narrow 14-11 win against the New York football Giants.

I'm glad he's taking a seat.

That's just money the Saints may not be pissing away now.

Saints fans - Pissed Ingram didn’t get the first down. Mad Carr put effort into getting the first down and got injured.

I’m still passed about that. That fricker thought way too much of himself. That play will forever define him to me.

Wasn’t the playoffs still in reach for the Ingram play? 1 is not like the other

So a fan is upset that our QB whose the only decent one in the roster, who also is apparently made of glass, was stupid when he jumped with is head and arms for a meaningless first down.

And you doofus’ are mad at him?

He’s right. Cincy fans would be apoplectic if Burrow did that in a meaningful game.

That loss cost us the playoffs that year. He gets the first we win.

We weren’t technically eliminated yet against NY. If we would have kept winning, could be playing for the division against Tampa next weekend.

Just absolutely idiotic to hate on a player for actually trying to get a first to win a game.
