Typical no effort from Vacarro. Don't miss him at all in Black and Gold. You can tell he holds back at the 40 and starts to jog. Gets passed by another defender who actually gives a shite.

He definitely sucks. I have no idea what the KV love affair with some is about.

That was the first thing I noticed watching that play. He’s always been slow as hell.

No instinct either. Waited till the runner was past him before pursuit.

That certainly looked more like a jog than a true attempt to prevent a TD.

Miller did run a 4.38 40 at the combine.

Some people forget the LA rams play last year. Injured, but he stopped and gave up on that sideline play.

Never thought I would ever find myself defending Vacarro as I was never a fan personally, but wasn't his groin literally detached at that point?

If you're on the field, injury is one thing. Effort is a whole different story.

Trying to justify not taking Eric Reid.

There was also this strange narrative on how he was so valuable b/c he was a safety that could stop the run and cover the slot. You ever see what happened every time he covered the slot? It was like a bullseye appeared in place of his number and opposing QB’s went at and tourched him.

I don't love vacarro but he was all the way on the other side the play in the other gap.
He was never known for his speed. He looks like he still tackles good.
Problem with him is he got picked with a first rounder and thought his shite didnt stink.
He's a serviceable strong safety.
He got a 1 yr deal and that's all he is worth

He had 2 good years here.

His rookie year and the adderall year. Aside from that he was complete trash most of the time.

Some people refuse to let go. Aaron Brooks, Malcolm Jenkins, Roman Harper. When these guys were let go it was deserved. They all did some good things in NO but they did a lot of bad things too.

The only player I remember being really pissed off we let go was Wesley Walls.

To me he was never the same after the injury. I thought after his rookie year that he would be a sure non miss pro bowler.
