Shough plays a Boosie track, says he will die on that field for us.

Better than anything Carr has done to bond with the fans

I hope our fans put aside their doubt and just invest their fanaticism and support this kid. Give him a real chance. Our job as fans is to be deliriously supportive until it no longer makes sense.

Exactly. We asked for a different organizational direction and all of us wanted Carr gone. Shough represents those two things happening, so why wouldn't you get behind him?

I’m done melting. At least Shough seems like a cool guy. I still think it was a very questionable pick for many reasons but hoping Shuck can prove common sense wrong. God help Mickey and KM if this doesn’t work out

Our FO’s decision making hasn’t been “making sense” for a while now. There’s different ways to be supportive. Sometimes getting pissed off at your team for doing stupid shite is appropriate.

Didn't like the pick, but that's not his fault. I'm on board with him..

even if you dont like the pick (i dont) the kid is starting to do the one thing brees has always advised you do that carr never did: embrace the city and they will embrace you back. good start to your tenure here, tyler.

I don't love the pick, but I love what the pick means and the message it sent.

Unless he starts this season, it was a wasted pick. This franchise appears to be in deep trouble headed into further decline like the Pelicans.

Not even close. What is your basis for this?

We wanted DA gone, hes gone - we hired the OC for the Super Bowl Champion

we wanted a more measured approach in the draft - we didn't trade picks in a win now fashion.

We wanted to go away from Carr we drafted a QB 40th pick.

Some of you people just like to cry and gripe - why do you waste your time following the team? It clearly makes you unhappy.

And we made wholesale changes this offseason. Why is that blind hope?

What would you want differently?

4 straight years of missing playoffs and just really uncompetitive football. Bum quarterbacks and an old bum roster. You can spin it how you want but we were told last year and the year before that we could win this “easy division”. 5 wins last year lol. The wins o/u this year is set to 6.5 (same as Carolina).. We still owe Carr at least $80 million.

I like Kellen Moore but he’s the youngest coach in the league and completely unproven.

Then we just drafted the oldest and least productive qb at 40 overall. And we are told to sit down, shut up, paint your face, buy the tickets and have blind faith.

Ok yes sir!! Who dat who dat who dat said Dey gon beat dem saints

I think some of us just want to be objective and talk football. I’m not going to lose an ounce of sleep if the saints win or lose. It’s the face painters that rage when we say things they don’t want to hear.

Based on his injury history, he might just be stating fact.

Again, anyone who parrots this is showing ignorance. Bone breaks are not what anyone in any FO or organization is talking about when they consider "Injury proneness"

Joe Burrow is considerably more injury prone than Shough
