They didn’t give up a touchdown all day. They needed a stop at the end, yes, but with teams starting at the 30 now and kickers so good, you only need 30 yards of offense to have a good shot at a FG. And they got all that on one penalty,
Koi made a good kick.
I love Shaheed, but this one is on him more than anyone else. Why even try to catch the ball on the 2 yard line?
The pick 6 was a bit of a fluke, but the muffed punt was an unforced error.

This team is built like some old black and white TV monster of the week. Everything is fine until some replacement parts are needed, once that happens, everything after that is fricked.

After week 4 teams and players show the reality of they are. Its easy for average players to shine for a week or two while other teams stars are getting into their groove. The contenders will start showing who they are by week 4 and the super star players will start showing who they are.
Shaheed is a "part" that has a very specific role (speed to stretch the field) been put into a spot that is way more than his role should be. When he is used outside of that role he is a liability on the field.

if we had this defense during the payton/brees run GOD knows how many super bowls we win. for sure 2011 and 2018. maybe 2017? woulda had to beat philly in philly for NFCCG had we got by minny. what about 2010? although we were down to what? our 6th string RB? would we had a shot in 2006? if we had beaten bears in NFCCG? what about 2013? had we got by seattle? so many what ifs if we had a real D all those years. drew was shot in 2019 and 2020 playoffs so i will not even count those.

Our defense can be as good as they want to be all game, but if they fail every single time they are needed to step up, then they are a joke.
