If Payton was smart he would've had Tre'Quan go down at the 1.

Do that, kneel twice and bring it down to 1 play. Either we win or lose on offense but the key thing is it's our offense, not our defense, who decides the game.

I wish he would have, but no way he’s thinking that in the moment

No you can’t frick around with that shite. If you can score there you score

That said when the ball went back to the Niners with 53 and 3 TOs you knew it was over.

Payton feels stressed by the officiating.

He has to be aggressive.

There's nothing smart about taking guaranteed points off the board.

Why, just so we can lose it on defense? How many times does our defense have to blow a big game?

You can't trust the defense in these situations. Win it or lose it on offense.

No thanks

For 14 years I have been comfortable with our offense to win the game. If we lose, so be it.

No confidence in the D with a minute left. Wayyyy too much time

if he went down at the 1 our winning % is 95%.

The second he scored our winning percentage dropped way down to 45%

Read a book

Would've given us a better chance to win than putting our defense back out there.

What situation would you rather want, 1 play with our offense against their defense or 50 seconds left for our defense to stop their offense. I know which one I'm taking every time.

Our offense at least gives us a chance to win. Our defense gives us NO CHANCE to win!!

Same thing I said!! Why would you ask your defense to hold them with the game on the line when they couldn’t do it all day

The 49ers were the favorites to win the game when he scored with nearly a minute left.

People on this board are too stupid to grasp that.

If we didn't lose it t his way we would've lost it another way. How many times is this defense going to screw you before you stop trusting it?

Murray averaged 9.9 yards/carry today

Glad we didn't use him on those 2pt plays though. Throwing it is so much more exciting!

What would be our winning % if we kicked the extra point?

Scoring is ALWAYS the right thing to do. The 2-point conversion was executed poorly. Looked like Brees put the onus on the refs to call PI instead of not leaving it to chance and exhausting all options to actually make the call work.

NEVER leave it up to the refs, when will the SAINTS learn?
