I looked through the post this morning and didn’t see any started. I know we have talked about it a lot but I was listening to OTB this morning and T-Bob and Hester were saying that it will be between the Dolphins, Chargers and Cowgirls.

Is this breaking news or old news? I’m pretty sure they said someone broke a story yesterday about this? If indeed he does coach next season, do we receive compensation?

For real. I’ll take a few first rounders! Let’s trade with the Texans. They are fricking morons

I’d love to see him playoff choke again somewhere else while we take in the draft picks!

Why on earth would the dolphins and chargers fire their coach?

I'm sure that the sooner he takes another coaching gig the better our leverage for compensation. Chris Mortensen said Mickey Loomis has a team by team compensation chart already prepared just for that scenario.

The Cowboys are probably realistic. The other two teams are in there for clickbait garbage.

Miami has a 1st year HC and LAC have a 2nd year HC who went 9-8 last year. At best, Payton's people may have floated those two teams because it is probably more preferable to live in the warm, vibrant climates of LA and Miami than a cold midwest/east coast city.

If Payton is coaching next season it is hard to imagine it is anywhere besides Dallas. (1) He has ties there; (2) they have a desperate owner willing to spend huge sums; (3) they are likely to make a coaching change after this season...unless they win the Super Bowl.

Probably Dallas.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Drew came out of retirement for a year to join him.

They both love the DFW for whatever reason.

This board does not allow any negative (truthful) comments about Sean Payton.

Dallas didn't do much to improve this year and the Eagles look to be the best team in that division. I'm think McCarthhy gets canned half way through the season and then Payton will be brought on when the season is over.

Normally I'd agree, but they had a great off-season this year. Refreshing to see them doing the fleecing rather than the one being fleeced. Also had a good draft, which they will need a few of those to be competitive again.

You wouldn't? I'm pretty sure everyone else in America would be surprised if this happened.

I don't see them making the playoffs unless the back in as NFCe winner. But, even then it wouldn't be the first time Jerry fired a coach coming off of a SB win.

Also had some rumors about Carolina, but could have just been some "experts" trying to get shite to stick because the writing is on the wall with Rhule. With a Week 13 bye, I'd be surprised to see Rhule survive the bye week
