Sean Fazende on Fox 8 now talking about this is deeper than just Dennis Allen.

He's suggesting that Mickey Loomis is about to get hit as well, but we'll see...
So the word is out.

He said this off-season. Not this season
Posted on 11/4/24 at 9:46 am to tzimme4
I wouldn't expect him to be booted from the organization so the off season would make sense.

I wonder if the archbishop would make a good gm?

If he’s out I would guess they allow him to step back and take some different position
Mickey is an example of “you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain”
Had he rode off into the sunset with Sean and Drew he’d probably be a revered figure by all (but LE). Instead he torpedoed the franchise and got exposed as a total inept, coattail rider.

If Lady Gayle cuts Loomis, it would be a huge cause for celebration.
I hope that she'd reach out to the League to help guide her through this process.

I’m fine with Mickey staying as our cap/money guy only
But we need someone else for all football ops

Loomis will be allowed to retire after the season.

I will believe it when I see it.

We are currently 70 million over the cap for 2025 with probably the oldest roster in the nfl. The next team is only 30 million over the cap.
I wouldn’t let Loomis near the cash register at the concession stand if I were Gayle.
Go with Khai and Ireland Co-GMs and call it a day.

Are you serious ? That’s one of the largest reasons we’re in this hole
“Yeah I’m ok with Madofff continuing to manage the funds just not so much of the day to day anymore “

I agree. I would prefer an entirely new regime. I was just saying if they are hell bent on keeping people then Loomis isn’t the guy to keep. Especially when it comes to handling the cap.

Khai Harley
Assistant General Manager/Vice President of Football Operations
Biography
In his 16th Saints season and 23rd in the National Football League, Harley's primary focus is contract negotiation and strategic planning/management of the Saints salary cap and roster management. In his eighth season in his current position after serving as director of football administration from 2008-13, he works in conjunction with the player personnel department, making player acquisitions fit within the salary cap structure. Harley works closely with the Pro and College Personnel departments in preparation of free agency and the NFL Draft. His duties also include contract negotiations, coordinating different areas of football operations, roster management and other administrative functions of running the club. He is a key liaison with the NFL Management Council and NFLPA. Harley has a deep background in NFL salary cap administration, Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations and the research of player contracts.
