after everything that's been said... the Baun pick is a literal steal
they were trying to trade into the 2nd round to get him and were willing to pay a lot more than just next year's third to get him
and yet... all we paid to get him was a third next year (which... remember... we should get a 3rd round comp pick next year for Teddy so we'll still have a 3rd next year)... and even got a 7th as well that we parlayed into Trautman

It was said we were willing to trade up to 32 (I think they really meant 33) to get him, which would have cost at least a 1st in 2021 plus some.
Instead because teams didn’t want to trade we got insane value with only losing 1 3rd total while moving up 14 spots.

I hope he’s here until he’s Belichick’s age. That would give us 12 more years of CSP. Realistically, he’s probably going to retire around 65.
