Not negative, just a puzzling move considering the pieces at TE. Giving away a guy that is clearly worth a roster spot on an nfl team.
Neither guy the Saints have are traditional TE’s so you need a guy like Trautman to do the other things they don’t do. You risk that security for a guy who probably doesn’t make the team nor will replace the special team snaps Juwan and Hill gave you are core special team guys last year

They wouldn't make that trade if they thought like you. I'm gonna lean to their side till they become the keystone cops of drafting.
Plus you can see who it was that wanted Trout originally. The dude has not lived up to where he was drafted or is that debatable?
