Watson will have to approve the trade destination due to his no trade clause

When I see articles like these, I assume it means we wont get him.

I expect he ends up in Carolina. Would be slam dunk If their coaching situation wasn’t so up in the air

They're just gonna want way too much.

Like 3 1sts and a starter.

Keeping 3 1sts and that starter and resigning jameis is a much better option.

I tend to agree with you, but no guts, no glory.

Peyton Turner
Ceaser Ruiz
Marcus Davenport

The saints last three first round picks. Would you trade them plus Peat for Watson?

Well of course but I can also say I wouldn't trade

Latt
Ram
Davenport

And a starter.

Texans are going to ask for a LOT of quality for Watson. Probably more than Loomis and Allen would be comfortable with losing. Much smarter
, and cheaper, in the long term to keep your draft capital, resign Winston, and get him some quality OL and WRs. The Saints were 5-2 before he got hurt, with very conservative play calling. Let’s see what Carmichael can do with him before we send him on his way.

This seems to be the part most are forgetting. The man was playing well, resign him.

An elite starting QB is worth it.

However, I am also cool with signing Winston and not trading away picks or players.

Exactly.

Just goes to show how hit and miss drafting always is. Davenport while good also has battled injuries as well.
